I've heard they're moving the cricket scoreboard from Headingley to Elland Road in time for Tuesday. Can't say I blame 'em. :?

I really hope we don't just 'roll over a die' in the way that we have done on our recent trips to Elland Road.

That said, 3-0 defeat.

They arent exactly playing brilliantly though. A routine 2--0 win for them, but at least we might have a shot.

Leeds 6-0 Walsall

109 Saddlers, most of whom are going to tick Elland Road off the list of stadiums they've visited in what could be their one and only chance to see the mighty Leeds in our cup final. 108 to come back disappointed. One to remain in the cells disappointed.

No shots on goal. Parkin to come on in the 79th minute after Hutch's watch stopped. Bangor to owe another 50p regardless.

Really? That would be terribly disappointing, mate.

I was thinking more in terms of Big Baz's prediction, if only because, statistically speaking, as long as he consistently predicts a 7-0 win for the Super Saddlers, he HAS to be right one of these days. :D

I just hope we're far enough behind early on so I can turn off the radio without the nagging feeling (no matter how remote) that we might stage a revival. 4 - 0 by halftime I reckon.

After enduring that dreadful, dismal ,negative rubbish at Oldham I sincerely hope that we at least attempt to attack Leeds. I would much rather that we give it a go, so that there is something to shout about, even if we lose, rather than what I fear will happen ie a defensive & negative approach and end up losing feebly 2 or 3 or more nil.
Still as this might be our last visit to Elland Rd for some time, I live (misguidedly) in the hope that the walsall team will make the most of it.

this is the type of game the players should actually show up for so

Leeds 1 v 2 Walsall

Tinned to turn radio off so many times he blows electrical systems across the west midlands, in turn creating a meltdown of the national grid at precisely 9.36pm, just as Macdonald clears off his own line with an overhead kick the Elland Rd Lights go out allowing Gray to beats 6 players in the darkness and score the winner. Referee in total confusion blows final whistle forgetting that he is meant to ensure Leeds win.

In the gloom of Elland Rd, Moanin old git is seen to smile for the first time since 1978.

Any Northern Saddlers going tonight? Finding it desperately hard to motivate myself to attend, despite it being the closest League One ground to Casa bangsection. I suppose I should view it as one of those things that you should do but take no pleasure in - like a tax return or a Radiohead concert.

Mind you, Luton are playing York tonight, so I could actually take Jeff up on his kind offer and switch my allegiance to the Hatters. Perhaps DD might even wave at me!
