What an atrocious performance, absolutely woeful, gutless, and terrible.

One shot on target in 90 minutes against an average side says it all - and that was a pea roller from Richards.

Nothing more to say about the game except that we were lucky not to lose, as Bristol opened us up at the back 3 or 4 times but just couldnt find the net - whilst at the other end, we didnt create a single chance.

I am totally fed up of pee poor football, its shocking, we can barely pass to each other, we're constantly playing with our backs to goal, we dont have any wingers, we dont have any pace and our midfield specialise in doing nothing. The games are boring and we constantly get outplayed by teams who are totally average - we made Mark Wright look like Cristiano Ronaldo today - thats a sign of how f*cking atrocious we are.

There you go with that swear filter thing again Philip. Please note for the future that "Mark Wright" should not be used on this board! :D

I think if we'd lost today we'd have had the first major anti-Hutchings chants from the crowd.

Ince- Did ok. Didnt have anything difficult to do.
Westlake- My MOTM. Did well. Can put in a very good cross in.
MacDonald- Did well again. Unlucky for hitting the cross bar.
Vincent- Quiet game but no real mistakes
Sansara- Sh*t
Till- Sh*t
Mattis-OK game,nothin special
Taundry- Good game but quiet at times
Richards-Sh*t
Byfield-Sh*t. Terrible first touch and pointlessly ran.
Parkin-Sh*t

Nicholls- Did ok but didnt really run at players
Bradley- Quiet

CH decisions are terrible.Time for a change.
We need a few new players in.
As you can see, i thought it was sh*t.

Just listened to his aftermatch interview on Sadsworld. He thought that the result was fair and seemed reasonably satisfied with the performance on a "difficult" pitch.

That is probably as much about defending his own position than an accurate appraisal of the game itself.

He is a limited manager with a limited squad of players. We have not advanced at all in the 12 months he has been in charge.

End to end guano - absolute rubbish.
Am getting very fed up of watching games where there is just no effort, plan or will to win.
The crowd have now become as apathetic as the Team - I was just willing the final whistle to go to get in the warm and go home.
We seemed totally directionless (again) what does Hutchings tell them to do?
Midfield - its totally non-existant.
Defence - well Clayton just about deserved MOTM but no great shakes there.
Strikers - well Parkin is a bull in a China shop - what does Nicholls have to do to start a game in his best position?
First half I cant remember any shots on target - second half an ironic cheer when Richards hit the first on target attempt.
Best chance MacDonald in the dying minutes that hit the bar.
We are just poor, no quality and very boring to watch.
If you suffer from insomina forget Nytol get to the Banks's thats all I can say.

We need some quality. Thats why we needed Hughes, but he is too good for us. Bottom half of table side. Not going down, but not going anywhere quick.

Time for a change in management i think.

Ok, let's get real here. Far too many fans on this site and SOME at the ground almost seem to masochistically somehow almost enjoy it when we do badly.

This was an OK performance with a depleted team. I have seen MUCH worse. Our best player Jones is sidelined. Our top scored Deeney was suspended. That said, Parkin actually had quite a good game, won a lot of ball, held it up well and was more effective than Byfield, who was poor today.

Ince - 8
Westlake - 6 got turned several times, seems naive but only a kid
McDonald - 7 - good
Vincent - 6 OK
Sensara - 6 OK, but not always strong enough
Mattias - 5 - didn't do much, a bit slow as well
Taundry - 6 OK
Till - 5 started OK seemed to have beating of left back early on but then faded
Richards - 4 Oh dear, had a stinker, pretty awful but why cheer players ironically when they go off. You idiots, he did his best.
Byfield 5 - not at the races, but a couple of times, didn't get the run of the ball
Parkin - 7 can't jump very well, but played a pretty good 'hit man' role today and held the ball well, with 5-6 excellent lay-offs

Rovers have got some talented players. The tiny striker and right midfielder to name two. They have some quality in the team and are a better than average side. With our full strength team, we would match them. In the end we nearly nicked it.

The pitch WAS awful. But yes this was not a very good performance.

Can we expect much better? Not on the current gates which are not allowing us to bring in decent players.

Sadly, we are now defintely a small club and getting smaller. It's going to take a very special manager to dig us out of this current malaise.

But those like the idiot near me who spent most of the game shouting abuse at the players and management - almost irrespective of what was happening on the pitch - are NOT helping anyone. It didn't sound like HE was enjoying the £15 and 2 hours he spent...and he certainly didn't enhance the enjoyment of anyone around him. The loser.

I think we have enough to stay up, with Deeney and Jones back in the side. And although we lack firepower, we haven't lost for 3 games either so are not THAT bad. CH and MO are going to have to work with what they have got and - in my view - it's enough on paper to do something. Over to them...

Hutch out

And I hate Sansara! Not because he was completely terrible ... Simply because of that little scuffle and the way he went down clutching his face. He and the large amount of fans who shouted for the red card should be ashamed of themselves.

The pitch is awful but sadly so was the teams on it !! Parkin really is dire , in fact apart from Vincent /MacDonald they all looked dross, what a waste of a saturday afternoon.

Whoo hooo, this is how far the happy clappers have had to retreat to keep a pretence of being satisfied. We'm staying up, let's crack open the champers.

Any (small) lingering chance of me getting a season ticket next season has evaporated. No way am I paying 300 quid for a team that don't care, a manager that doesn't care and a board that doesn't care. Stick it up your chuffer you losers. After 23 years I've gad enough.

Boring, boring, boring shite.

When Westlake goes forward, he seems to know what to do. When Sansara goes up, he dont have a clue what to do. He dont know if you go to the touchline and cross it in, put a early ball in, play it down the line or play it back. 90% of the time its back. The other 10% of the time its give it away.

Woeful game from start to finish. That is about all I can say.

Players:

Ince - 7 - Not a lot to do. What he did have to do was done with ease
Westlake - 8 - Fanastic from him, my MOTM, good tackling and going forward.
MacDonald - 7 - Good performance and should have scored right at the end
Vincent - 7 - Typical, solid Vincent performance
Sansara - 5 - Shocking
Till - 7 - Tried hard, did well at times but takes to long to get the ball in
Mattis - 7 - Usual stuff from him
Taundry - 8 - Played very well in my opinion
Richards - 0 - Professional footballer? You're having a laugh
Byfield - 5 - Had a woeful game.
Parkin - 7 - A lot of effort and won a lot in the air. A good performance from him but didn't get the support he needed

Nicholls - 6 - Realy didn't do a lot when he came on
Bradley - 6 - One decent cross, other than that he was quiet

Tbh i'm grateful for a point with our 3 best players out.We are thin on the ground but again feel that the manager got it wrong yet again.Starting with Parkin was a mistake. He will never score. It was an ideal opportunity to give Nicholls a chance in his best position.Maybe we will only ever find out how good a striker he is when he's banging them in for another club!
My gripe is with the manager. He really is clueless!

probably in my top ten matches ever for being bored sh*tless to be honest.

i suppose in the bigger picture we can blame the owner and the fans for not singing like a home match
we can blame the pitch and we can blame running out of pies
but at the end of the day the manager must be coming increasingly under pressure.
we have a threadbare squad admittingly and injuries and suspensions but the players did nothing today to suggest that they support the manager.
even the ever reliable byfield looked like he didnt care today.

i think that performance summed up the whole feeling around the whole club.
couldnt be bothered and just going through the emotions until it finally dies.

i for one like tinned who have supported the club for 23 years will not be renewing my season ticket net season not until drastic changes happen and can you see that happening!!!

It's true Byfield did seem like he wasn't that bothered, although Parkin repeatedly chased things down and put in a decent performance. Those saying Parkin was awful are not right.

We were not good. But we were not awful either. Rovers had enough quality to have punished a really bad side. We are average, and without a couple of key players like today, worse than average. I don't think the management have 'lost' the players, but the combination of a think squad, questionable persitence with players like Till and Richards who don't seem up to it, and the apathy/even antipathy of many fans, is proving a lethal cocktail.

The problem with posting things like 'Bonser Out, Huchings Out' is that:
A Bonser wants out...but who will buy the club? NO happening.
B Who do we replace Hutchins with and would they do any better?

Truly, it is hard work supporting the saddlers and now as hard as any time I have known. I also feel frustrated and depressed at the state we as a football club and fans are in. Sub 4k crowds, a complete disconnect between the owner and many fans, and a significant and vocal minority who have utterly lost faith and cannot engage in any positive way with WFC while the current regime remains. A regime, don't forget, which actually wants 'out' but at a price no one will pay for a club so clearly in slow but steady decline.

The wider problem is that the gap between the rich and the poor has widened and continues to do so, because of greed at the top. There is almost no relation between the Premiership and Div 1 and 2. It's a world away except for the handful of clubs like Leeds who have 25k fans and therefore the income streams to attract the talent they need to compete.

The future is grim I am sorry to say. But not just here, for most fans and clubs in the lower reaches.

I suppose the one positive is that we continue to bring through young talent - westlake, smith, sansara

Slaughtering the BagLadies 4-1 in the sunshine seems decades, rather than years, ago now...
