Can't understand why anyone thinks MOC is any less responsible than Hutchings for the gutless shambles we watch week in week out

Neiher do I. All he seesm to do is shout a lot, to very little effect, on the touchline. If the usual pattern is followed,it's the assistant who does most of the work on the training ground, so he's not pulling up any trees there, either.

Owing to living in London, playing football on Saturdays, and all the Christmas/New Year games being called off, last night's match at Root's Hall was my first since early December.
We were just a little bit worse than woeful.
I thought the red card was justified for a textbook two footed off the ground challenge. After that, it was always going to be difficult.
Had Richard's free kick just before half time found its way into the net perhaps things would have been different as we would have had something to hold on to. But it didn't. And I don't recall us having a shot on target after that.
I thought Moussa, Grant, and Scannell were the best players on the pitch.
My flatmate, who ironically couldn't be at the game, is a Southend fan. At least he was happy.

Excellent result. Well done boys. Especially well done to McDonald to making it all the more easy.
