Walsall 7-0 Exeter
After being rejected by the uts factor judges the electrifying all dancing all singing group SHABBA MINT Consisting of Sellotape 66 , Evo , Ned Kelly and Asps call a team meeting at the house of Evo to discuss their next move after the rejection by the uts factor judges. After many beers being drunk and many cigarettes being smoken the decison has been taken to make it through the live finals of the uts factor SHABBA MINT the group must add a 5th member and after many phone calls Jockey is added as the 5th member, this massive news is revealed in a press conference at half time of the walsall v exeter match. To be continued.

Time for an upward blip on the mid-table life support monitor.

Opposition that doesn't travel well, Byfield due a goal - lets hope everyone sticks to the script and some random football event like a dodgy decision, injury or wonder goal from the opposition comes along and changes things.

Dangerous game this, and possibly just a matter of time before it goes mammories up.

Anyone in the area who wants their Saturday afternoon fix of football from Walsall unencumbered by thoughts about who is lining whose pockets or whether or not we'll be where we belong* this time next year. Quite simply, we're a bog-standard league one outfit, and I think many modern fans have forgotten we used to sing "We're dung** and we know we are" on the terraces every week. The way things have gone, for many, many reasons already outlined over a long period of time, mean we're not in with a shout of promotion and this season like many before, can be written off. That said, there's nothing stopping any Walsall team doing it's best, or any fans turning up to cheer them on (or moan that we're not as good as we used to be, or gob at the stewards, or stick two fingers up at the owner, or just sit quietly with a rug over their knees) should they so desire.

Following Walsall always used to be about cheering the midtable mediocrity put in front of us, with the folorn, but sometimes fulfilled, hope that one day it would be different. There's still that hope, and there's some exciting players coming up (Smith, Westlake, Grigg, et al) who deserve support, as well as the old warhorses who've put the shirt on to show them the ropes (Ince, Byfield et al). That's football. The rest is just business. Some are interested in the first but not the second, and they'll be the majority of those in the stadium this weekend.

A surprise 2 - 1 win.

Evo to pin FBIG to the floor, shave off his beard and knit it into a handy wig during a particularly dull period of the second half (probably between the 46th and 93rd minutes).

Walsall 3 Exeter 0. Byfield 2 and Deeney 1. Ray Graydon to be ejected during the second half for making gestures at Uncle Jeff.

Big Baz and DiddyP to have a chance meeting in the BHS lingerie department. They opt to miss the game and go and have tea and scones together instead. Metfan to be jealous.

This game is a must win from a personal point of view. We have got an Exeter fan staying with us on the Sat night after we've been to the game. I won't be able to stand the grief I'll get if we lose! However, I'm confident and predict a 2-0 win.

An absolute must win for CH and Walsall FC.
Exeters away record of won 1, drawn 1 and lost 4, sums up how bad they are away from home.
They have scored just 4 away goals and conceded 12.
So I would also expect a clean sheet.
A 2-0 victory is a must.
Anything less than a win and CH should really look at himself and ask if he is capable of turning this around.

Know what you mean Hednesford. Compared to our superb home record that is appalling so it must be a home banker. Fortress Bescot and all that :D

Hopefully a win. 1-0 Byfield

A club Transgressed 1 A Club Transformed 1.

crowd 3628, including 851 who just came to see Ray Graydon.

Bonser realises it might be a good marketing ploy to ask Graydon to come back....but then remembers that he gave Chris Hutchings a new contract last month.. DOH!

Damn this credit crunch and the apathy of the townspeople.

Win 3-0, attendance approx 4,500 given the WHG offer and the Sir Ray factor.

Only my second game of the season (Leeds being the other), but really looking forward to it to see Sir Ray again.

We should win this one I think 3-1 with a Sam Parkin hat trick which sees Asps jumping from the top of the Floors 2 Go stand.

Geoff Whiting to give Jeff Bonser a specially stitched green coat with “we love you Jeff” on the back off it.

Gotta go for the win - although I am expecting it to be tortuous.

2 - 0 - First goal in the 48th minute, Troy Deeney tap in. Second goal Sam Parkin 93rd minute penalty.
