I cant for the life of me remember where i was last year before the taxi to the ground.

Could Hughes play midfield and allow Mattis to roam forward, and Smith and McDonald to renew their excellent partnership at the back?

Difficult one to call, this.
If Hutchings persists with the high up the pitch defensive line tactic, I fear a 3 or 4 goal defeat. If he revisits his tactics and plays 10 behind the ball with Parkin as the lone striker I predict a 3 or 4 goal defeat.
I'll go for 3-1 to the Dongs followed by some interesting debate on UTS starting at 4:55
Unfortunately due to moving house, I will be unable to participate in the entertainment as I am broadbandless :(

Will go ( definitely) like this:
03 mins GOAL 1-0 scrambled goal
29 mins GOAL 1-1 ( Nicholls piledriver 25 yards)
43 mins GOAL 2-1 scrambled goal
87 mins GOAL 2-2 ( Parkin 30 yard lob )
89 mins GOAL 2-3 ( Jones 40 yard dribbling run beating 6 men, most of them twice, rounding the keeper and tapping in)
90 ( +3) GOAL 3-3 disallowed because too much of a scramble
FT 2-3
333 Saddlers singng all the way back to the Pays Noir

I'll catch up with the deficit at Stadium MK when I get home about 5.30pm. Not expecting good news! :?

Just the one change - Jones in, Nicholls benched.
Rene Gilmartin, Rhys Weston, Mark Hughes(c), Dwayne Mattis, Steve Jones, Troy Deeney, Mark Bradley, Jamie Vincent, Matt Richards, Darren Byfield, Clayton McDonald.
SUBS: Clayton Ince, Mannie Smith, Alex Nicholls, Josh O'Keefe, Sam Parkin, Darryl Westlake, Peter Till
Still not sure what Richards and Bradley contribute that Nicholls / Till / O'Keefe wouldn't but hey ho.

Not sure why you're that put out by that happening. Nicholls didn't do a lot against Carlisle and Jones came on and looked lively, including scoring.
We know Hutchings likes Richards in the team, whatever the reasons, and whether he is that influential or not. Ideally you might say play jones and nicholls in the wide positions, but away from home, he probably wants it a bit more 'solid'.

I'm loathed to speak too soon but it sounds like we've started pretty well, listening to the match on WM.

Good pressure from Walsall - nothing to show for it. Then a bit of weakness on our left and they take the lead. :(
Meanwhile James Constable has already scored two for Oxford - now on 11 for the season.
