Huddersfield (H) League 1 Tuesday 29/9/09

Sun Sep 27, 2009 8:58 am

No Dukery,so I'll kick off: -

A 2-0 defeat

3389 including 210 from up north.

Tape66 to return from the US with prospective club buyer Jasper Conran in tow. It all goes wrong when he spots Evo wearing Prada. Jasper leaves our match and hot foots to Rushall to catch their 2nd half & has the added pleasure of meeting Ian Sludge Lees.

Walsall 7-0 Huddersfield
On his return from the us sellotape 66 suddenly realises that his love of metal music has gone and has been replaced by Barry Manilow. In the saddlers club tape is joined on stage by evo and duke and asps for a cover of the manilow classic mandy.

I think we'll get a zonking. 1-4 to them - 436 from the land of Yorkshire pudding and weird serial killers.

Sheff to parade "Barry from Tipton" around the ground with a balaclava on his head*

*Person in the balaclava is actually a mail-order yga he hired to act as this "Barry" fellow.

My mate who I used to go to the matches with (for about 20 years home and away) rang me up today. He was really depressed, the other lad who used to go to the matches with us had got him a ticket.

Not knocking the club, just relating a true story.

Based on no logic at all i also fancy us to win!! It's kinda what we've done for years, just when you expect to get hammered a result comes out of the bag, soon followed by being a big bag of toss again soon after!!

Walsall v Huddersfield.
A team in rapid decline v A team that may be going places.
Hard one that.

Thing is though, there is not a lot of point to a Walsall match at the moment.
Even if we lose, donkey will still be in a job.

Free fall without anyone to stop us.

Oh Blazing, you need to understand why you are actually destroying the club by going to matches.
On second thoughts, they always say, you cant teach old dogs new tricks.
So keep going mate and clapping!
CLAP CLAP CLAP!

Theres only one Chris Hutchings. One Chris Hutchings.
Theres only one Jeff Bonser, walking along singing along, walking in a Bonser wonderland.

Oh I see, you message reply was not that of a "right nob" then?
By the way, have you looked up the word "nob" in the dictionary?
It means "a rich person whose family has been important for a long time"

I thought an happy CLAPPER would at least be able to carry a conversation.
CLAP CLAP!
Obviously not!

Actually bugger that, we'll win 4 nil. Huddersfield will be crushed by a rampant display of attacking football.

no probs.

I don't agree with Geordie being a bit snide to anyone (who knows what goes on at WFC) and still goes but at least sometimes he does it with a degree of intelligence and wit. Sometimes.

Whereas Simple Simon just looks like a complete hanger-on who is slightly retarded.

Shame that.

CLAP CLAP CLAP!
How many have you been to?

Iv been to all league games except 1 for the last 5 years and go to atleast one away game a month for the last 5 years.

My first Walsall game was 8 but dont really remember it to much. Since then iv tried to get to every league game but missed a few because of family problems. 5 years ago i got my first season ticket.

home
23 x 4=115
115-1 i missed=114 over 5 seasons

away
10 away games a season minium. Add about another 3 or 4 im goin to so thats 14 a season.

14 x 5=70 games over 5 years

so over 4 seasons iv been to..
114+70=184 games

now how many have you been to over the last 5 years?
