Jones' goal against Southend was a header from a free kick, Nicholls' at Accrington also came from a free kick and the goal against Brighton was an own goal.

None of our players have scored a goal from open play this season!!!

And we still haven't. 0-0 at fulltime.

Several hours on the road and £20+ in petrol saved then. Result! Albeit a rather predictable one...

Sorry, I was thinking more along the lines of the non-penalties.

I doubt we'll score at Norwich either.

I said it after the very first friendly I saw...that we simply wont score enough goals, for whatever reason, and if you dont score, you dont win games.

We're going down, and miserably by the looks of it.

I think they play with the figures to be honest, many times there has been a good crowd and announced a lot lot less than what appears so may be a bit of teaming and lading going on

What actually constitutes 'commentary'?

At the moment, they're describing every penalty just seconds after its been taken!

The chap singing live must be mighty pissed off being interupted all the time

At leat we can defend.

The lack of goals can be remedied easily enough. Just bite the bullet, stuff footballing "principles", lump the ball into the box at every opportunity, ask Deeney and/or Parkin to basically foul the opposition defenders constantly and get men from midfield up to them quickly. At this level the defenders will make enough mistakes that we'll score more than enough goals to survive (especially if we get Byfield into the box too as finishing is usually the last thing a striker loses).

It'll be ugly, but it'll be plenty effective. Question is, do we think Hutchings will be willing to go that route?

and just to remind all you boys and girls that JWB could well receive mysterious offers at 11:55pm for a few of the players and sadly wont have time to replace them

remember the script?

Can we just play the first round defeat in the FA Cup onl youtube?

Totally embarrasing listening on Saddass world, I won't even be doing that again this season.

We are fodder for basement clubs to clamber over.

Great credit to the 200 Bury fans who sounded great giving their team superb support, sounded like they were at home.

Club transformed Wallet???

Yes, from a small but proud football club that had a great cup tradition, to an utter pile of tripe that couldn't win an egg and spoon race.

Transfer window shut at 5pm (although I guess that we could have sold someone eariler and just not announced it - it'd have to be someone who didn't play tonight as the player would no longer have been registered to WFC by 7.45).
