Ince - 8 - To be fair, he didn't have a lot to do at all. But saved us with the penalty save and save from the rebound and did what he had to do with good effect.
Westlake - 8 - Another impressive defensive play from him
McDonald - 9 - My MOTM. Stopped everything
Vincent - 8 - Same old solid Jamie Vincent
Sansara - 6 - Same old Sansara. poor again.
Till - 7 - Worked hard all game. He was very good first half but faded out in the majority of the 2nd half
Mattis - 7 - Got stuck in and a typical Mattis display
Taundry - 7 - Same as Mattis. He got stuck in and made it difficult for Rovers. Nice finish aswell
Richards - 6 - Ineffective. Simply not a winger
Nicholls - 8 - I was impressed with his & Deeney's partnership. Worked well together. Chased everything and played well. Despite the lack of service at times, he offered creativity on the ball. He seemed to fade out 2nd half though.
Deeney - 7 - Good performance. Linked up well with Nicholls playing off him. He held up the ball well and knocked it off, especially in the first half. This allowed Nicholls to get it outwide to Till and for once we were creative.
Walsall fans in attendance was 135

Just seen the highlights - I find it odd that they chose to show so little of our attacking threat in that 15 minute period around the goal. No Mattis shot, or Deeney header from the Till cross. They can't show everything, by why show nothing?
It WAS Nicholls and not Deeney whose persistence led to our goal. Not sure how I missed that!

Great finish, great tackle to knick the ball. Thats what you need your strikers to do away from home.
Ince made a great save in the first half by the looks of it, plus the penalty double.
Harsh on Vincent, soon as you get tangled up like that its hard to get out of it! Penalty though.

Yeh rumour has it he's heard about Bangor's bet and with banks not being flush any more, Bangor's struggling to get a loan to cover all of Parkins appearances!
