Don't confuse co-occurrance with consequence, Bernie.

For God's sake, get real! Are we going top slag off everyone who gets a yellow or a red this season?

One red and seven yellows = several games missing; worth some level of criticism in itself, particularly when some of them are unnecessary (e.g. dissent) and some are caused by recklessness.

The reason why Weston is being pilloried on this occasion include: -
He was captain for the night, hence he should set an example
He had already committed two offences worthy of a yellow card before his early bath dive in
None of the tackles were committed to prevent a goalscoring opportunity (In fact the first was on the edge of the Accy box!)
It completely changed a very winnable game.

Does this have any similarities to yesterday? Of course it does and we lost two points yesterday not because of Clayton's error, but because once again a senior pro can't control himself. Graydon's fine box would have been brim full so far this year.

Agree completely - but what we are talking about here is people saying we should get rid of the player - not fine him!
