Leyton Orient (A) League 1 Saturday 21/3/09.

Wed Mar 18, 2009 8:34 am

At look at our hosts league form.

Hartlepool - away - won 1-0
Herefoed - away- lost 1-2
Peterborough - home - lost 2-3
Brighton - home - won 2-1
Carlisle - away - won 3-1
Stockport - away - won 1-0

3 wins on the bounce for the O's who are by no means are safe fron the drop .
Sitting 17th in the table 4 points clear of 21st placed Yeovil on 42 points from 37 games played.
Full home record

4 wins - 4 draws - 9 defeats - 16 goals for - 24 against.

Prediction : Mr . Ibehre is well over due a goal no better place to notch than his old stomping ground.

O' s 0 -1 Saddlers .

Somebody better tell him he is supposed to aim his shots in between the two posts then, and not either side.

I think if we get an earlyish goal, we will win. If their home record is anything to go by then they'll have tetchy fans who will turn on the team if things aren't going right (think Walsall fans post-October until the start of January) and we can use that to our advantage. Never an easy place to go, Brisbane Road, but I fancy a win or an unlucky draw.

2-2 us

South East Saddlers supporters club to do a morris dance at half-time, culminating in the live sacrifice of one of the mini cheeses.

1-2 to us. Jabo to mis-kick and get a shot on target to fool the keeper. Deeney with the other.

MMF to be disappointed, as a few years ago at Brisbane Road, by expecting "Big Maltesers" to be a golf ball sized special Malteser and not a large of bag of normal sized ones. :D

2-1 to them.
I think we'll see another slightly slack performance now we've passed the 50 points mark.
I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but think that their greater need for the points will have them a lot more up for the game than us.

2 - 1 to the sarfeners.

Saigon to think he really is in the Orient and go on a mammoth pulling spree - only to pass on some nasty STD's to the local population.

:D

1-1. Deeney.

:D Offer to introduce Flemish Saddler to the local delicacy of jelied eels. A vomiting incident and a cooling of the friendship follows.

A 1-1 draw or 2-1 to them. What will certainly happen is that Ibehre will score his second goal for us in 5 months.

We've been in that stand in our last two visits, but at opposite ends of the stand each time. You can make some good noise in there, which you seem to be very interested in.

I am confident of a win tomorrow so I am going for 3-1 with Jabo, Deeney and Nicholls on the scoresheet.
