Yeovil Town (H) League 1 Saturday 28/2/09.

Sun Feb 22, 2009 9:22 am

Why would a chairman sack a manager after 4 successive victories , a run that has taken the Somerset team out of the relegation zone beats me.

The Glovers league form , last 6 league games.

Southend - away - won- 1-0
Huddersfield - home - won 1-0
Leyton Orient - away - won 1-0
Peterborough- away - won 3-1
Bristol Roves - away - lost 1-3
Oldham - home -drew 2-2

Yeovil now sit 15th in league 1 , 37 points from 31 games.

Full away record.
Played 16 - won 6 - drew 3 - lost 7 - goals for 14 - against 22.

Prediction : Our 3rd successive 2-0 win.

mmm. De Ja Vu. A few decent results behind us, a nice set of home fixtures to come, starting with a home game against the awful Yeovil. Banker surely !

2-0 to Yeovil :(

If awful is a four match winning run, then I dread to think what we are

We'll beat them though, 1-0 to the Saddlers.

This one could be a real red herring.
Until recently, they'd been looking poor. 3 wins from their last 4 away games however have changed things slightly.
I'll go for a hard fought 1-0 home win. Ricketts with the goal.

2 schools of thought on that...
1 - following rapturous appointment, didn't see eye to eye with chairman
2 - was sprung chatting to another club

Either of them sound familiar?

That would involve Evo going near a vegetable. Are kebabs vegetables? :?

I'm attending and predict that Geordiesaddler will wake up and his last few months posts will have been just a wet dream, thus proving that you can take the piss out of the man but you can't take the man out of the piss or something like that.

Walsall to win 3-1

Jabo and Ricketts (2) with a drunken Stafflers dramatically denouncing the existence of God in his half time proclamation, stamping on his copy of Cliff Richards Greatest Hits CD before storming off to Kinky Boots for a threesome with Desmond Tutu and Amy Winehouse.

3-0 walsall, deeney to get 2 and ricketts to get 1

Swifty will turn out to be a real bird and fly out the tunnel but only to get hit by and oncoming aeroplane then land on top of yeovils keeper and they ironically dont have one on the bench so they have to play that midget in goal like they did last season :)

I am feeling more confident about games now with the new management duo in place so I can see us getting a win on Saturday. I reckon a nice confidence building 4-0 win with Rickets, Deeney, Jabo and Nicholls getting the goals for us.

MMF to turn up dressed as a Morris Dancer and gives away his secret hobby to all after hitting Phil on the head with a tambourine.

A hard fought 1- 0 win to the Saddlers. I'll go with a goal from Deeney again to get him back on track.

Both sets of teams to arrive via a secret lift into the centre circle of the pitch, thus explaining what Jeff's been spending all his money in the last few years.
