I think that 95% of us would go with that side. When you look at the players on the bench compared to those on the pitch then it really ought to be a no-brainer. However, I bet that no more than eight of those eleven do start.

I would stick Taundry on the bench though - instead of Smith. And I'd be tempted to put Zaaboub on there instead of either Deeney or Nicholls too.

Look, it's just an absolute waste of time to try and predict any result involving this lot.

The only thing that is certain is that Mullen's squad of 16 will be guessed by no-one, including Mullen, who accidentally write Palmer through force of habit. Then dementure will finally set in and he'll write Kurt Nogan and John Francis in at 9 and 10. He'll eat some hotpot and black pudding and then go home and crack one off over Liz McDonald.
