Reserves v Lincoln City

Wed Sep 10, 2008 7:06 am

Haven't seen any details mentioned on here of last nights game.
I found this on the Lincoln site

http://www.redimps.premiumtv.co.uk/page ... 88,00.html

Most pleasing aspect looks to be the return of Rhys Weston.

Most worrying aspect looks to be the continued absence of Dwayne Mattis.

Agreed that it's good to see Rhys back (although I was at a party on Saturday night talking to an old school friend who said he didn't rate him!), but I trhink our defensive problems at the moment are more systemic than individual.

To a degree - but Palmer and (currently) Smith aren't up to the job and no system is going to compensate for that.

Weston will make a difference thats his second outing for reserves he must be very close to a first team recall , Mattis is a worry although i'm lead to believe he's back in full training.

He was supposed to be back in training the same time as Weston

I might be tempted to a "told you so" here! When someone has been off as long as he was with his broken leg, they often get a string of niggles when they come back.

I remember you saying you were concern when we signed Mattis , as far as i know the club has not released any information about his injury which makes me more worried.
