They have one hell of a strikeforce in this division.

This is walsall though, we'll get a hard earned point, then lose 17-0 at home next wik.

seen as both teams are capable of goals, and both teams are a bit dodgy(okay we are incredibly dodgy!) in defence, ill go for a 3-3 draw.

I drove past Bristol last saturday and just a word of warning, they are resurfacing the Avon Bridge on the M5(again!) and traffic was backed up as far as the M4. Either avoid it, or give yourself extra time.

I fear and expect a tanking - Bristol Rovers 4 Walsall 1. Hope I'm wrong, just think we'd have so much more chance if we had a defence in front of Clayton.

Because they can't be bothered, cos the passion they once had has been ripped out and torn into shreds in the matter of 6 months? That might, just might...have something to do with it.

These Rovers games are never ordinary. Something weird will happen - 4 - 4 and 3 sent off or something.

1-1. A hard-fought, but just about-deserved point.

Lambert for them, Reich for us.

I also fear a beating. If we get beat because of poor defending it will be time for Mullen out cries, the problem
is obvious and has not been addressed, instead he talks about more fire power.

no sure Son , i can only assume Boertien is injury , Bradley would have been a better option than Taundry imo and as I've been saying for a while Riech on the right Ishy on the left .

great to have Mattis back

I'd have thought Palmer on the right would have been a good shout personally.

Wheres under 21 welsh international Mark Bradley also ?

Good to see Weston and Mattis back in - I only hope both are fit. I'm assuming Boertien is injured as although he gave the penalty away against Orient, he's been generally solid. Certainly not worthy of dropping.

Disappointed to see Ishy back on the bench. Yes, his attitude can be a bit questionable (understatement?) at times but his recent performances have been far more consistent and yet he's still 'dropped'. What kind of message is that to sent out?

He's on the bench I made an error Smith is not in the 16.

How can Ishmel ever establish his proper role in the team if he is constantly dropped. I know that he does not always perform to the best of his ability, but I do not think that Nicholls at his best has ever played as well as Ishmel on a poor day.

Big gamble to play Mattis without even a reserve performance.

The one good thing is that it is often when a manager sends out what seems a very dodgy team that we surprise everyone and play well. Let us hope so.

I wouldnt of dropped Ishy, he can win us games away from home.

Agree with most the other changes tbh though. Would of put Palmer on the right though, i dont rae nicholls at all. (cue him scoring winner today  )

If that's the case, we have few defensive options if we get an injury, with (if this is right) a bench of Gilmartin, Deeney, Bradley, Ishmel and Palmer. If Roberts goes off, I'm assuming Weston will slot in and Palmer play at right back. But, to be honest, I wouldn't put anything past us at the mo when it comes to substitutions.
