Do we have seven substitutes, this season,....or is that just the Premier League?

Hard to say with the first game of the season! We have made alot of good signings, They havnt made many signings at all! Our team compard to theres is alot stronger on paper. Maybe a narrow win?

I think we will take about 800/900 fans! Lets hope it dosnt rain again, the weather forecast dosnt look very good.

Apart from the six players they have signed, you mean - 2 midfielders, 2 strikers, 2 keepers. Of course, only five of those can play at any one time :|

1-0 to saddlers. Deflected in by the ref.

Wouldn't agree with you there. Our squad is stronger - there's is pitifully thin which is why they might well struggle this season. But they do have good experience at this level in their first XI - Bircham (when he's fit), Way (ditto), Schofield, Warne, Skiverton - they all know what this division is about. If our midfield gets on the ball tomorrow and we get at their back four, that's our best chance of winning.

I'm still pondering with the thought that playing a 4-5-1 would be a better option for tomorrow, last season when we went on that unbeaten run we were at times playing a 4-5-1 and it worked but it would be difficult to leave out either Ricketts or Ibehre because they both have a lot to give.

Play well, score a goal or two and dont lose... if that happens I would accept a draw today. I of course, hope for a win.

I'm optimistic. I'll go for a 2-1 win to the Saddlers.

Goals from Gerrard and Mattis.

Interesting in one or two places. No Mattis, I'm guessing he must be injured. But Taundry is in his place when you'd have thought maybe Bradley would be ahead of him or even Reich after he played so well in the middle apparently against the baggies. Maybe JM wants more legs in the middle which Taundry would provide I guess than if you played reich with hughes.

If Boertien isn't match fit and sansara plays ahead of him, why use up a subs place for him? If there was a problem, Taundry could drop into left back. This would have let us have Bradley or Deeney on the bench?!?

BTW, 1-0 saddlers!
