ticket sales have not gone as well as expected according to the nice young lady in the club shop.
Wolves have only sold around 600 tickets

I'm sure there would have been over 1000 if it was a more attractive ticket price... pre-season matches should not have a ticket price over £10

Pre-season matches should be free. They're just training sessions against people who don't know what you're going to try in advance. No side's ever given close to 100% in a friendly - and they shouldn't do: the (non-existent) reward isn't worth the risk.

That makes 608 then ( assuming the Dingles are able to find Bescot. Baz included ).

Regarding the coverage, i cant listen to commentry matches through the BBC's WM website and because I live in Wycombe, I cant get BBC WM on my radio.

Any idea whether Saddlers World will have it on tonight, given that they license out commentary games to them? Any info would be helpful.

£12 is just too much and too much of a rush straight after work.

anyway: 2-1 either way, cant decide. Ricketts scoring.

Ricketts could be sidelined due to clearance not being received in time.

Good to see that youth team goalkeeper Tom Cox is on the bench in place of Gilmartin.
Suspect it's only to sample a big match atmosphere.

Big? the Dingles? *snigger*

Can't add much on Piorkowski, other than that he's come back from major knee surgery, and has been a part of one of the A-League's better defences. Played in the same team as Kevin Muscat, so he'll know about the English style.

Love the commentary - real Colemanballs

"For the third time in his career Michael Ricketts steps onto the pitch for his first game for Walsall".

Big cheer heard in Caldmore... plenty of Dingles present by the sounds of it - reminded me we were playing!

Ricketts missed one too. 'Lacking match sharpness'.

Ishmel on for Zaaboub.

Bradley for Taundry.

Chadwick for Ibehre.

Just done himself no favours with a huge miskick in the area. Must be big match nerves.

Not much going on. Game petering out in true preseason friendly manner.
