There is a similarity with kpsaddler's blog, isn't there? Good job I went for a different score!

2-2 from 2-0 down. We'll get all excited and think that the same thing will happen 2 weeks in a row. But we'll have to settle for a point.

I think we will go ahead this time.
2-0 at half time.. wrexham makes it 2-1 in the first 10 in the second half. Walsall secures the victory with a 3-1 goal during the last 20 minutes when Wrexham put to many players forward.

Goals from
Osborn, Fryatt, Wrack.

I'll go 3-1 if we can put the same performance in as last week, the trouble is we never play the same 2 weeks on the trot.

2-1. Us to be losing at half time but scrape a win. Why change the pattern?

Wrack and Fryatt to score.

I think 1-0, a tight scrappy game, and a single strike from Matty Fryatt after 72minutes.

3 points to the Saddlers.

ding dang do.

You obviously have Osborn down to have a blinder in the "holding" role then, with a rare clean sheet.

as predicted, the teams same as last week but with osborn in the holding role instead of kinsella

Murphy

Aranalde
Bennett
Emblen
Wright

Wrack
Osborn
Taylor (K)

Merson

Fryatt
Leitao

I think that a few people may be suprised by how well osborn plays as i feel that the holding role is the only position that he can really play now he has got older (as shown by attempts to play him right midfield lol), however i could be wrong.......

Its 1-1 I think. What's the point of coughing up for Saddlers World if you cannot even get it. That's two weeks in a ROW

Didn't go today, but was getting text messages from my friend, I said a draw earlier on this thread, but said 1-1, A point is a point, but shouldn't it have been a game we should of won?

Looking forward to hearing reports from folks who went.

As i went i will say

Murphy was very average. 1 or 2 good saves. Deflection caught him off guard for the first. The second was just a well worked goal around a static defence.

I would describe Wracks goal as a typical Walsall goal of late. Some very tidy play puts a midfield runner through on goal. Jorge took his goal very well.

I though Wright was a real MOTM Contender today. Emblen won just about everything. Jules was good when it came to winning the ball but his distribution was worse than Simon Osborns. Zigor is a strange player on the best of days. He looked a bit subdued today. He was overwhelmed by the numbers on his side of the pitch at times, but handled this by not marking anyone at all and standing about 10 yards off. Osborn was typical Osborn. Hardly did anything but made some important challenges. Krissy Taylor was the only one of our midfielders who looked "up for it". Why was he taken off? I can only guess he was walking a fine line with the Ref? Wrack was a busy bunny. Jorge was looking sharper than he has done in recent weeks. Fryatt had an average game. Why he pushed wide left and Merse wide right in the second half was baffling. We were doing alright until they did that. Matty and Merse outwide defeats the objective. Surman was poor. He only got half a game, but i don't see the point in bringing him in and not giving say Jamerson or Daryl Taylor a go in midfield. Surman looks lightweight and off pace. I hope he improves. Merson had a poor first half, and was ok in patches during the second.

We should have scored because Merson missed a sitter and Wright and Merse swung a load of good balls in to the box. Then again, Wrexham will think they had enough chances to win it as well.

I think it shows that we are about on Wrexhams level. Give them 10 points back and we are midtable League One.

Another home game without defeat though.

Zigor? Man of the Match? He was one of our poorest players today. Watch the replays for the
goals.
