Just a matter of time before this becomes official club policy for competitive games.

"But just for the amazing price of £29.99 a year (or £2.99 a month) you can receive advance notification of all Walsall results. For more information email [email protected]"

Can another moderator stop King Crimson from getting his hat-trick? I believe it is an abuse of his powers and it's not fair on us mere mortals by locking the Hartlepool thread. [The clue is on the board index for those of you that want to play]

I can assure you Cully that I didn't lock the Hatlepool (sic) thread.
That would be an abuse of powers.

I may have inadvertantly suggested to another mod (being in a clique isn't an abuse of anything) that the thread had run its course. Which, of course, any poster could do.

I can't lock the forum (I don't think so, anyway), nor would I even if I could. But if admin chooses to lock the forum now, that would be fine by me.

If you insist on having the last word Exile, then have it. However, I must point out that the last word on the season should go to someone who has seen us play live this season.

I.e. a proper fan.

In the grand scheme of UTS brawls, its barely a jab - let alone a low blow.

Anyway, Exile's been in more bouts than most of us.

That explains his punch-drunk posts.

Can I now add that I'm not really bothered about any hat-tricks after this rather sumptuous bottle of Chateaux neuf du pape. I am prepared to concede providing he promises to stop posting those odes

How mean. Be afraid - 'Ode to Cully' is only another mean post away.

Plus, with the number of new players we'll have to bring in, I may struggle to keep up (you hope).

Mmmmm. Nice wine. Just had a rather nice bottle of Chablis avec burgers and baps. Great stuff.

That's rich, scouse git. I've 'seen' Walsall live in my imagination many times this season, in games played against the backdrop of my mind through the dulcet tones of Mick Kearns' commentary. I can only assume the reality was somewhat worse, but luckily I'll never know.

I have claimed asylum in Walsall, admittedly. I have also tried to fit in with the culture and language (e.g. I learned very early on that Caldmore is pronounced 'karma', and that people say "yow" when referring to the second person, not because they are in pain).

This has also involved gooin to Warsa abit. So, its not been a bed of roses. :(

Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read told me (via his book) that you should not consider honour or rules in a fight. Use any method available to win.

Oh aye, the film's good, though the dislcaimer at the beginning rightly states "This is not a biography. Some liberties have been taken with the script".

It's still fairly accurate, and most importantly a great film. I'd repeat a quote for you to enjoy here, but he's quite the potty mouth

You won't want to emigrate to somewhere like that then! :!:

As I say, try Scotland.

Oh, errr, hang on.... :?

They must keep those dogs very, very hungry. Hope they gave it a rabies vaccination afterwards.
