A.F.C Bournemouth (H) League 1 Saturday 19/4/08.

Tue Apr 15, 2008 1:52 pm

Form Guide The Cherries last 6 league games.

Yeovil - home - won 2-0
Gillingham - away - lost 1-2
Tranmere - home - won 2-1
Millwall - home - won 2-0
Swansea - away - won 2-1
Bristol Rovers - home- won -2-1

4 wins on the bounce, but still Bournemouth a lot to do to secure league 1 status they are 6 pioints from safety on 41points from 43 games . a home win could send the condemn the Cherries to basement football , a game not for the faint hearted.

Prediction 1-0 home win .

Edgey.

They are going to be fighting, and they are definately a team for great escapes.

1-1 draw..

With them to stay up.

Another dire, cluless, pointless load of old de-motivated tripe. DD will play the smallest player we've got against a Crouch-alike and sit there wondering why we're not winning any of the pounts forward (that have initially threatened the flight paths of Birmingham Airport bound planes). We will have absolutely no fight, no pace, no width, little passing ability. The attacks will resemble a slow game of chess. We'll leave at fulltime thinking how we got off lightly with a 2 - 0 defeat. Same as usual in the oh so happy world of watching Money's teams.

Oh, and Leeds will win and we can go home half relieved that we've finally been put out of our misery.

All I can say is, I'm glad I can't go (due to lack of funds) otherwise I'd be disappointed yet again.
I do not want to see Mooney 'going through the motions yet again'
I do not want to see a 'speed merchant' Deeney running round like a headless chicken
I feel sorry for Gerrard and Weston who are 2 of the quality players having to play with some of these numties.

You forgot to mention that Mooney will do his "Bowing - I am being push in the back, not jumping, looking at the ref" thing 20 times during the match after asking the centre back to pump the ball forward onto his head. :?

The rest seems fairly accurate though

Well Dicky can't use the "there or there abouts"
So it will have to be the "fighting for their lives routine"

I think we will win but I'm more confident of Leeds winning their remaining games.

I'm going for a 1-0 as we find ourselves in last chance saloon. Holmes to score.

That could make things interesting then. On our current form in the final third, we could do with them playing with just the one defender.

the downside is , Crewe only need 1 win from their final 3 games and Bournemouth are down no matter what.
Bournemouth may have aleardy accepted relegation and play under no real pressure.

We'll win 3-1 Deeney, Mooney & Betsy

Leeds to have 15pts increase to 20pts and then to lose at Millwall.

Play offs back on.

Happy days

Cannot see a home win. our home form must be the worst in the league. Walsall nil is a near certainty. I will have to live with it, The Cherries fans say we are the worst two teams to play them this season. Worth a bet tho 0-1, and 0-2, Vokes first and last scorer.

I fear tomorrow could be a tad embarrassing. Either way it doesn't matter given that the tribunal have decided to wait and see exactly how many points they have to give Leeds back.

Just looking forward with baited-yawn to the summer and the unfolding of field-marshall Jeef's masterplan.

Surely we've all been following Walsall long enough to know that tomorrow will see a stirring performance with plenty of passion and some excellent attacking, resulting in a 2-1 nervy win. Holmes and Betsy to grab the all-important goals. 4,672 in attendance. Mr Money to state in his after-match interview that we have a "well-run club, punching well above its weight" and that "the club and supporters will need to work together next year to achieve the club's aims", from which WM will decide that he's having a go at the fans again, and the Dingle & Star "headline" will decide that "DD will not be at Walsall next season" :D

And Leeds will draw to virtually ensure that it'll go to the last day before we miss out on the play-offs...
