I agree, a must win (as they all are now).
With an atmoshere like the Tranmere, i'd back us for the win we're looking for.

An edgey 1-0 with a goal for Gerrard off a corner on the hour mark.
We'll only win because they'll have forgotten how to.

We've won the last two games with improved performances. Shame that level of performance was missing in the crucial games against Northampton, Brighton, Leeds and Southend.

Ahh, shame we had such a malnurished and young squad with no real experience of this sort of situation as well.

Has he got the contract to replace those CCTV cameras that got nicked?
I'll predict a tense match, with my fingernails gnawed to the bone as I listen, very quietly, at my work desk. About time we scored some, and a real possibility against a leaky Brizzle team.
3-1 us, coming back from a 0-1 half-time deficit. Ince to equalise with a goal kick. :D

2-1 to the Saddlers and leeds only to get a draw at Huddersfield to keep the playoff hopes alive :D
Then Leeds to get some points back the day after to end playoff hopes :x Hope I'm wrong but I get the feeling the arbitration panel are going to wimp out on this one.

I'm a little worried about this one. Their position betrays the fact that they are a decent side. It'll be a tight game...I'm going with 2-1 or 1 each.

"malnurished and young" - are you sure you are talking about Walsall's First Team squad, or are you a Channel 4 Executive promoting the next series of "Jamie's School Dinners"?
It is a shame that it was Dann and Fox we sold, because we replaced them in the starting line-up with about 650 first team appearences in Boertein and Roper. One thing Ian Roper certainly isn't is malnurished. :)

That isn't to say the recent ( last two) games are going to bring consintency to the current squad. I obviously hope it does and we go on a 'briefer' run than the one earlier in the season, but there's been plenty of times in recent era's when one or two wins get people a lot more optimistic than necessary.

Yep, shame DD's squad building is poor and he doesn't use all of his budget available and the budget he does use he wastes on players we don't need.

1-1 draw. The local press down here are stating that Holmes "is expected to be in the starting line up, despite his injury on Saturday". I hope for a win, as usual, but Rovers are desperate for the points too - they reckon they need one more win to be definetly safe.
My sister is going to this one, her first match since 2004, and only her fourth match ever. I'm not sure she'll see a home win though.

I will be watching from the OAP stand tonight (with the sponsors - so expect a dodgy MOTM  - my vote is going to Herivelto). I will try to keep as quiet as I can so as not to upset the apple cart.

Does that mean I won't be able to park next to you, Steve.
Makes me feel special parking next to the site sponsor.
I need to get out more. :(
