Nottingham Forest (A) League 1 Saturday 15/3/08.

Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:45 am

Form Guide Forest last 6 league games.

Leeds - away - drew 1-1
Swindon - home - won 1-0
Orient - away - won 1-0
Carlisle - home - lost 0-1
Crewe - away - drew 0-0
Southend - away -1-1

not exactly free scoring are they , Forest are sitting 1 place and 3 points above us with a game in hand.
just like us to bring the 3 points home from the City Ground right now i'd settle for a draw .

my prediction 0-0.

Me too, Dave. Given our style of play, I think we'll get one too - but we'll need to score.

1-1 Holmes for us.

I'll make a noise because I want my team to do as well as possible. I won't be making a noise just to stop a person with an over inflated opinion of himself having a public strop.

Well said tinned.

It would be just typical of Walsall to win at Forest, I hope we do but we've got to stop the rot so a draw would be acceptable.

Actually, should I laugh or should I take this personally and not see it for the light hearted joke it was intended. I'm not sure. :?

I think we've got to win at forest....its getting to the point where if someone comes with a strong run-in from outside the top 6 they will push us out and its very hard to get back in the play-off places when you drop out at this late stage...so i say 1-0 to us.

I'll take a point and a reasonable performance now.

I reckon about 1,000 Saddlers will be there, slightly less than there would have been as a result of recent home defeats :(

I'm looking forward to it, anyhow.

Don't see the logic there, Sid.

In reality, it's only as difficult as any other time during the season.

On paper maybe but in I think sid is referring the pschological difficulties which I agree with him on. Forest aren't exactly flying at the moment either. It could be a very key game of the season for both teams.

Since when was logic compulsory on UTS? It's been in short supply for about 10 years!

Forest 2 - 1 Walsall

...they've been waiting a while for a result against us, and because we could really do with one at the moment I don't think it'll come. :|

Spot on Mark...its all about teams thinking positively in the run-in and i should imagine dropping out of the top 6 at this late stage would knock the players confidence and make it very hard indeed to get back in again...look at the Fergie/Keegan thing....Keegan was just bluffed and double bluffed into losing a 14pt lead fergie did him up like turkey....i think its 50/50 at this stage of the season with ability & confidence.

They've only scored 4 goals in their last 6 games so are hardly firing on all cylinders. Like so many others, I think we'll draw this one. 1-1 with Moore scoring.

is it reserved or unreserved seating? I know the tickets have row & seat numbers on there, but with it being pay-on-the-day and 4,500 seats availible, I'm not sure whether or not it is reserved?

Normally sit where you like. And you will be made to sit, not move, not talk, and not fart by the nazi stewards.

Will be an uninspiring dreadful game - if you put us under pressure from the start the fans will instantly start getting on at Clueless.

More in blind faith and optimism but 2-0 to us
