Could it be magic :D

Cracking result. I know Luton are in trouble at the moment but 3 points away from home in this league is never easy. Great confidence booster for Moore as well, looking forward to seeing him next week.

Wouldn't surprise me if Money says that this performance gave him more satisfaction than last week's.

I was afraid of a Luton Tarn beating today as they are due a win.

This result defo satisfies me more than the swindon win. It looked like a difficult game today.

What's also more satisfying is that we managed to defend a 1 goal lead for 90 minutes nearly, 3 points are 3 points this point in the season, another clean sheet too, makes for a good day, we struggled to break Luton down at home so to go away and bring home the bacon is satisfying

Great result today, Moore took his goal well, great flick by Mooney...would have been a penalty and sending off if the ball hadn't rolled into the net...Ince looked rock solid all game, countless times collecting crosses like taking candy from a baby...slightly worrying moment 10 minutes from time when Luton scored from a corner but Ince had been barged in the build up so it was rightly ruled out...

We didn't do that much attacking after the early goal, but we didn't need to - pragmatic football, one more bit of quality second half as Holmes got into the game, lay off to Wrack who made lung-busting charge through the middle rolling back the years, square ball to Mooney edge of box, his cross just failed to be met by Taundry...

If you were sitting behind the goal, you might have said that it was a dreadful miss by Mooney. Luckily, it didn't prove costly as Luton didn't have much of a clue in attack.

Workmanlike performance - not pretty to watch but never really looked in danger. The only moment of danger came in the middle of the 1st half when a Luton player found himself in acres of space in the 6 yard box and thankfully fluffed it.

Gerrard and Roper were excellent, Ince did what he had to do, midfield missed Bradley's creativity badly, and Mooney seemed to spend a lot of his time out wide.

Would have liked to have seen Nicholls put on to liven up the attack and run at their defence.

Still, 3 points is what matters at this stage of the season.

What a hole , at least they play decent tunes though.
Anyone else have trouble parking, found a "carpark" behind some shops after an age driving around.
Not many places you go to that makes you glad to get back to Walsall but Luton is one of them.

Can't believe we kept a 1 goal lead for 90 minutes!

Great result but a bit like last week, its tough at the top when the teams around you win too, a Donny and Tranmere draw would have made the day. Let's hope Forest and Carlisle draw on Monday.

The games that look easy on paper very often turn out to be he toughest . good professional performance by all accounts
with 2 homes games next things are looking good. DD predicted a tough game once again he was right

Grea tvictory today, generally a poor performance in some aspects, we missed any power or presnece in the midfield, which meant mooney had to ttrack out wide and track by most of the time, wasting energy he could be using on chasing and closing down- or just generally pushing the line. Weston was excellent as was roper, betsy, gerrard and ince. Wrack worked hard but generally looks far past if at this level, dobson got his tackles in but his distribution simply isnt up to league 1 standard, moore took his goal well looked quick, but other then that was generally lazy. sonko was poor before taking a knock and going off... I sort of felt sorry for lee holmes who was brillant defensively but simply couldn't be used to our advantage going forward because we didnt at any time get the ball to his feet ( thats where we missed a couple of powerful centre mids)... overall a tough and hard fought 3 points, much like last year... big shout out to weston and ince who i thught were in need of a particular mention....

Ohh and to the surprisingly big loud and always joyful saddlers following today.... a pleasure as always/
