Swansea City (A) League 1 Tuesday 12/2/08.

Sat Feb 09, 2008 8:30 pm

Form Guide Swansea's lat 6 league games.

Port Vale - home - won 2-0
Crewe - home - won 2-1
Doncaster - away - won 4-0
Forest - away - drew 0-0
Oldham - home - won 2-1
Crewe - away - drew 2-2

Last league defeat 16/11/07 at home against Huddersfield 0-1 , but remember Swansea were beaten by Havant in the cup.

3 things you wont 't need me to tell you . where Swansea are in the league , what a tough game this will be , and we are more than capable of getting a result .

1-1 draw for me , Sonko on target .

You didn't go today then? :?

We'll need to do much better to get anything at all. I'd snatch your hand off for a point. And I think we may just get one. 2-2. Our goals from Holmes and Mooney.

He was, Duke. But his goalscoring ratio suggests he owes us a goal. I reckon he'll deliver one Tuesday night.

I can't see anything for us from this game. We would have to play massively better than today just to compete.

I think it'll be 3-1 to Swansea, and wouldn't be at all surprised to be down to 10 men with Roper skinned several times by the Swansea forwards, leading him to two yellow cards for "typically Roper" late tackles.

I hope I'm very wrong of course ........... :?

this is the kind of game where even happyclapper fans have written us off over the last 18 months, and these are exactly the kind of games where DD's team have got a result.

swansea 1 -2 walsall goals: sonko nicholls
bookings: roper, gerrard, boertian, sonko, mooney, deeney.
red cards: DD, JW.

Maybe its swasnsea's turn to have a bad run like us last february and like mk dons a few games ago, even the top teams have a breakdown... apparently my mate at the crewe game saturday said they scored an own goal and a penalty, to of the sort of helping factors in football, not only this but scotland didnt look brillant and they were in the end lucky to escape a 2-2 victory, crewe missed a couple of chances, although he did say that swansea played some very good stuf in the opening 25... however to hope for anything else other then a point my be optimistic. Hence my match prediction. :D

We'll have to play better than we did on Saturday to get anything out of this one. I reckon we'll sneak a 1-1 draw out of it. Sonko to score.
