If the match goes ahead (not looking too promising at the moment with more rain forecast Thursday/Friday) I'd take a 1-1 draw.

Seems like Rovers are doing everything they can to get the match on. Excellent news!

Probably true, but so long as one of the side-effects of doing that is that our game's on (or, at least, is called off before I leave home!!) then I'll be happy.

I think we'll do well to get anything if the game is on. I'll go for an optimistic 1-1 with Nicholls to score.

Rovers have been on fire lately but the only thing we've missed in the last couple of games is the confidence and composure in front of goal from Ricketts or Mooney. Hopefully, one or both will be able to play.

I do think we're being a bit coy with Ricketts. Prolonging an "injury" during transfer window stops other clubs from looking at him and snapping him up...same applies to Boertien who was only put on a short term contract.

On paper (looking at the relevant home and away form of the two clubs), you would think that this
game is ours for the taking.
However, for the first time this season, I must admit to feeling rather uneasy about the outcome.

Keep the faith!!

Have watched the Gas a few times this season, they are a very hit and miss team. Saddlers all the way (if it stops raining!!)

We have to win this one as it will be the start of our new 20 game unbeaten run!!

OK fair enough, if we win I'll go to confession on Sunday and ask forgiveness for having doubted the
invincibility of my team.

I'm agnostic, does it still count? :?

Team line up as follows, looks like a 4-5-1 to me:

01 Ince
02 Weston
05 Gerrard
15 Dann
22 Sonko
23 Boertien
07 Wrack
18 Bradley
16 Holmes
19 Deeney
08 Dobson

Substitutes
31 Gilmartin, 06 Roper, 12 Demontagnac, 17 Nicholls, 26 Taundry

Notable absences - Mooney AND Ricketts (not good news really), Bossu (obviously still injured), Fox (despite the interviews saying he was ready to play, in DDs plans etc)

looks like a good team to me. really depends if deeney can hold the ball up well enough for the other players to join in.

You in Lancs today, or Thailand?

My tractor couldnt make it down the A14 to Bristol. Am saving it for the long haul to Carlisle. Will set out tommorrow for that one......

C'mon me babbies. Mick Kearns saying that everything is working ok with the 4-5-1. Thanks Mick.

Cue 2 minutes until it goes pear-shaped.
