Re: Swindon Town (H) League 1 Saturday 12/1/08.
Since before the Millwall league game at home I have looked at every fixture with fear and trepidation and yet come the full time whistle we have pulled it out of the bag.
So in typical fashion I can see a 0-1 defeat or a 0-0 snore draw at best.
Now I'm concerned that my bluff prediction will produce bad luck. :?
Maybe I should double-bluff and predict a comfortable 3-1 win? :)

Difficult Game what with Swindon having a new start under a new boss and all that malarky!
Hopefull last nights win hasn't taken too much out of the players, by all accounts they were full of running up until the final whistle!
So after predicting a 0-0 against Yeovil, ill continue my good run of form and say 0-0 again, let the good times roll!

Overcast with a bitter, westerly wind..........and at half time no one will hit the bar............Predictions over.

Re: Swindon Town (H) League 1 Saturday 12/1/08.
Swindon came up with the best performance from any team I saw us play last season at Bescot. They took us to pieces. I don't expect an easy ride, but think we should have enough to put them away.
If we are serious about a top two slot, then we simply have to start winning these games at home. A play off place would do nicely, but automatic promotion is there if we want it
2-1 to the lads. Bradley and Dann.
400 Away fans. to many in the Saddlers club

Re: Swindon Town (H) League 1 Saturday 12/1/08.
Swindons last 6 away have produced 3 defeats, 2 wins and a draw compared to our 3 wins and 3 draws at home. Definately a winnable game but without Mooney and with Ricketts being a doubt, I worry where the goals will come from. Nicholls has played well the last couple of games and deserved his goal at Yeovil (so I hear) so I guess he will start. Holmes should hit the ground running and hopefully Brittain can stay on the right so we should be well balanced.
As Blazing said, Swindon were probably the best team to visit last season and they've more than coped with the step up to this league, so a tough afternoon awaits. Their fans were also the best to visit last season (IMO) and they will make a lot of noise again so we need to show our support (especially for Foxy,) and get behind the lads.

The left hand linesman, Doffer and a snotty nosed kid for Walsall
Drogba for Swindon.
PS Did you know the name Swindon is derived from its old pre-eminence in the pork trade Viz Pig Town?

Dow care who scores. Love Weston to get one though. He deserves it, and will be awarded MoM again today - against old club.
