Yeovil Town (A) League 1 Tuesday 8/1/08.

Sat Jan 05, 2008 12:58 pm

Form Guide The Glovers last 6 league games.

Harlepool - home -won 3-1
Doncaster -away - won 2-1
Leyton Orient - away -drew 0-0
Swindon - home - lost 0-1
Brighton - home - won 2-1
Luton -away - lost 0-1

Yeovil have the chance to rest this weekend having been knocked out of the cup by Torquay , hopefuly baring injuries in our cup tie against Millwall we will be back to full strength .

Pediction - Glovers 0-3 Saddlers a hatrick for Darren Wrack , but with our hosts in 8th position just 2 points behind us i'll settle for a 1-1 draw with Mr Wrack scoring.

Not looking forward to this at all. I'd take a postponement due to frost/snow please.

Or a point.

Would have loved to have gone, having lived just outside Yeovil. Many happy memories

2-1 to the super saddlers anyone left fit to score

I can't get to this, which is a shame as it's one of my 'locals' - a combination of work commitments and the fact that it is a very difficult ground to get to on public transport, given the amount of time needed to get there on a weekday evening. Yeovil has 2 railway stations, neither of which are near to the ground. After a long trudge into town, you can get a bus via the local Tesco/Sainsbury's but even that takes half an hour. What great planning that was, to build the ground where it is, on the outskirts of town, without any decent public transport links. The land must have been cheap .

If it had been on Saturday I could have gone. Bloody FA Cup.

Anyway, 1-0 defeat.

I'm with bath on this one - think it might be the end of our unbeaten run. Hope I'm wrong though.

Travelling fan warning

Sun Jan 06, 2008 10:08 pm

Note for travellers. There's one bar at the ground - the Marquee Bar. Last time Walsall went, they refused to serve away fans altogether. This season the rules have changed, BUT depending on the day, the opposition and the whim of management / the club, you may or may not be allowed in - access appears to be random! Best forget it unless someone wants to call ahead.

had the same feeling for the game at Oldham , looking at the weather forecast that could play a big part in the outcome.
its a tough one.

Yes this is a very tough game! We have alot of injuries at the momment! I cant really see us scoring unless Mooney or Rickets can play! Lets hope our defence stays strong again!

I'm hoping and praying for a 5 across the midfield shut out for the Almight Saddlers.

0-0 would suit me down to the ground, prehap even a last minute online clearance from Weston!

Tough game at a bad time, we'll be clinging to our unbeaten record by our fingernails i think, a brave point the end result!

Jobs a gud un!

I cannot see us getting anything from this game. An end to our run with a 3-1 defeat.

Hope I'm not tempting fate, but i don't know why some of you conceive of this game as being any
tougher than those in the recent past.
This defence has conceded 4 goals in 13 games and a miserly 2 in 5 on the road.

Keep the faith.
