Mooney ruled out for the Donny game, according to WM. Could be back for Millwall.

4-5-1 again then they didn't like it at their place so why not repeat it at home

A pity about Mooney missing again, plus Ishy suspended. Not sure how far from fitness Dobson is, who could slot into the middle with Sweeney reverting to the left hand side in a 451.

Donny will be a severe test, with three successive wins, including 4-0 at Crewe in their next home game after us.

1-1 draw, but who knows, we could even win

If we are going to continue the sequence in this unbeaten run, it will be a draw. So far, it's been win, draw, win, draw, win, draw!

First thing's first, I'd play the same team that started the game today. It sounded like the midfield, particularly Sweeney in the middle, worked particularly well. Ricketts probably isn't the ideal man to play up front on his own, but as long as the likes of Ishmel, Bradley, Sweeney and Deeney are given license to support him, it should work.
I'm not going to make a prediction, but I think a point would be far from a bad result.

Ishmel's banned...

I might be tempted to leave Taundry at left back and slot Fox back into midfield for this one though (either left wing or central with Sweeney switching back wide). Doesn't seem much point making massive changes after a performance like that one - and 451 worked against Doncaster at their place.

Big game this one due to the relative positions of both clubs. I predict a tight frustrating affair with not much in it. Come on the lads!

Doncaster's last 6 home games have produced 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats compared to our 2 wins and 4 draws on the road. As did the Oldham game, this has draw written all over it but matches aren't played on paper as we know too well. Our toughest game since Leeds comes on the back of an 8 game month and is the start of a 7 game month, so we face some hard times ahead I think. (January as well  )

Fox back, Ishy suspended and Mooney injured.

I never predict Walsall's results and I'm not starting now. Donny are more than capable of getting a result against us but this team of ours has something about them. See you all in the upper tier.

C'mon you Saddlers

Assuming Mooney isn't fit, I think that's the most likely turnout.

Sweeney to score.

With an outside chance of hitting 2nd spot for both teams, I would expect the holiday crowd to be
closer to 7000.
I've a feeling that both will be well supported, as we entertain the novelty of " being in the play-offs ".

This is a biggie for the lads and a real 6 pointer

If we can grab the 3 points on offer today with both hands

a) If all the results in the top half go our way ( Forest lose/Leeds draw or lose/Carlisle draw or lose) we would be 2nd OMG :D

b) If, as expected, Leeds and Forest win and Ziggy's lot only get a draw or lose we will still be 4th

My prediction

3-1 to the Super Saddlers, 6287 Crowd, 455 Doncastrians, with goals from Ishy, Rickets and Bradley

Amazing number of people forecasting Ishy to play and/or score.
I wish.
I cannot ever, ever, ever forecast a Walsall defeat. I am psychologically incapable of so doing and will, therefore, never win the Prediction League (unless we go all season without losing - and why not, one day  )
Today I risk
2 - 2
Ishy and Ince to score for us.
The fair-haired linesman and that bloke in the wheelchair to score for them.
(I've got £1 on this scenario to win £6453742 :D :D )

You're slating others, concerning Ishy being ineligible, yet forecasting him to score yourself.
