To be fair i can never see the point of not letting them play. If they don't want the player, why stop him playing against you. All clubs do their homework on teams so it isn't as if he could give our team some info about their players nobody else knows or somehow make our team that little bit better to beat them.
If it was a player coming back from injury and just getting fit, maybe then it would be different :?
