No doubt it will be a disgrace that our manager tried to get the fans going.

Provided my maths is right and my reading of the other results, that puts us 8th on the table and only out of the playoffs spots by goal difference

Great win!

Forest was a good side..Played some nice stuff..But we battled and second half some of the football we played was great to watch! Can't knock any player really..Fox had a great run would of been a great pass if it got through to ricketts! Sweeny impressed me got a great touch.

It's looking good! :D

Bring on the Crewe!

Oh and great atmosphere towards the end..

We definately deserved the win tonight, Ricketts took his goal very well and should have had a second but was disallowed incorrectly.

Onwards and upwards!!

Indeed, DD deserves a bit of a break from some of the fans and WM. Be nice to hear more atmosphere for longer periods at home now, it can only spur us on...and help him to give us a wave too!!

Need to keep our heads firmly screwed on as, without wanting to sound pessimistic after another great win, it is still only 4 points down to 15th - nice and tight in league one middle table!!

Still up for the trip to Crewe Dave?

A great result against a very good footballing team.
Everyone on the pitch battled hard paticularly in the 2nd half when we pushed onto them more and gave them less time on the ball.

Great game today, the 2nd half performance was our best so far this season. Back four were solid and Clayton did not put a foot wrong.

Special mention has to go to the moaning prats in the TextOAP stand, please do us all a favour and stay away in future, your "support" is not wanted or welcome.

Great battling performance tonight. Looking at the depth at their squad at the quality they are supposed to possess up front, I would not have been disappointed with a draw tonight.

I'm getting slightly p****d of with WM at the moment with the way they keep banging on about DD being unhappy with the fans. It seems they are keeping a closer eye on his movements than actually watching the game. The crowd were pretty quiet 1st half (including a very quiet away support) but 2nd half it was a much better atmosphere. Personally, I didn't see anything relating to DD being uhappy with the fans tonight and he seemed upbeat in his interview after the game. Well done DD, keep the momentum going fella!

great result - gerrard was immense!! (hes finally won me round after the last couple of years, by getting back to the form he was in when he first signed on loan!)

Virtually all of the rest of the team were class - i dont want to moan after a brilliant result so i wont talk about sonkos contribution..... (or lack of it)

Cant remember the last time we had a night like that.

The atmosphere was great and so was the battling display from the lads.

Should have won 2-0, as Ricketts never touched the keeper, but never mind we still won.

2 years ago we were all talking about a possible trip into the conference with a team full of oldies, now we are looking upwards with a team full of youngsters, its amazing what we can achieve in such a short space of time.

Onwards and upwards

1-0?

agree re. WM making an issue of RMs attitude, but it's his fault really. he really ought to know better.

Yep- Stevie Wonder could see that Lockwood was their outlet ball every time, but Sonko continually left him in acres.

Mark Bradley was immense, closing Forest players down quickly, putting the foot in, and pushing up behind the front two, including a smashing bit of hold-up play with a couple of minutes to go.

Rhys Weston's best game in a Walsall shirt. Excellent.

Also, (my first game since Cheltenham) dare I say I was very impressed with Ricketts' workrate.

Great night.

WM are without doubt trying to drive a wedge between the fans and Dicky for some reason, in his post match interview he wasn't impressed with them neither was I , they'r just a load of cack stirring Brummies and Dingles , nice one the lads and Dicky :D

That was one of the best performances by a defender I have seen in years in a walsall shirt.

Scott Dann is by far and away the BEST Walsall player I have ever seen. Tonight was he was a tumult.

A loud commotion?
A disorderly crowd?
A confused state of mind?
