Goal Log:-
20 min. - 0-1 - Christopher Ovington turned Bacchus "inside out" as he cut into the Walsall penalty area and fired home from a narrow angle.
61 min. - 1-1 - Ravenhill put the young Saddlers back on level terms with a shot through a crowded penalty area.
65 min. - 1-2 - Walsall's joy was short-lived as Leeds skipper Nathan Cartman sidefooted home following an accurate cross from their right flank.

Comments:-
A fair result on balance as the visitors always had that bit extra pace in vital areas. They were good value for their 0-1 interval lead. However, Walsall took control at the restart and fully deserved their equaliser. However, this merely served to "gee up" Leeds and they restored their lead within four minutes. Thereafter, you always felt that the visitors had that little bit extra, in reserve, so to speak, and could step up their game, if necessary.
