Luton Town (H) League 1 Saturday 17/11/07.
Form guide the Hatters last 6 league games .
Doncaster - home - drew 1-1
Northampton - home - won 4-1
Crewe - away - lost 0-2
Notts Forest - home - won 2-1
Brighton - away - lost - 1-3
Carlisle - home -drew 0-0.
Luton tipped by many for a swift return to the championship (includung me) are 17th in the league on 18 points, they have yet to win away from home this season with 1 draw and 6 defeats scoring just 3 goals.
Prediction Walsall 1-0 Luton .
Mooney to score.

this is the big one for admin - as he lives close to luton's ground...and my best mate is a Hatter.
Form guide - in the modern era - 11 matches between the sides - walsall have won 7, luton 3, just one draw.
Luton are absolute rubbish on the road - they were under Newell, and continue to be so under Blackwell. For whom the bell will shortly toll as the new owner is rumoured to be getting a bit upset.
So it has to be a relatively comprehensive home win for the Saddlers. 3-1

Unless we sign a midfielder I can't even see us getting a draw to be honest. I can't even begin to guess who'd play in there with Wrack if we don't bring anyone else in. Gerrard might be the best guess, but I can't see him doing a good enough job to make a difference and we'd be breaking up the defence that's served us so well the last few weeks. I think that we will bring someone in though - and if it's the right person then there's no reason why we can't win this one.

Sonko and Wrack in central midfield - isn't that just the definition of powder-puff?
Not optimistic if we don't get someone who can tackle in before Saturday...
