We lacked width against Southend, mainly due to the completely ineffectual central midfield 3.

I must say, it is a worry when 5 men struggle to do the job of 4.

Fancy a job for the BBC? :D

Great. Here's my first match report:

View from Earl's Court:

Bournemouth 1 - 1 Wallsall

Paul Merson's Wallsall bounced back with a well-earned equaliser on their away day to the South Coast yesterday. Their goal, scored by Daniel Wrack, was set up beautifully by the experienced Tony Dennehy, returning to his former stomping ground. However, Man of the Match must surely go to target man, Simon Osbourne - who worked tirelessly all afternoon to deny the Robins' defence any time on the ball at all.

Assistant Manager Alan Picken described the result as 'Bonza!', in typical Kiwi fashion.

Actually, it's probably as accurate as one based on Saddler's World. :?

Hold the Front Page!

We were pretty dreadful...actually, very dreadful for an hour until we got rid of Eddie and Asbo.

McDermott did OK when he came on, as did Deeney.

Hopeless to play Mooney up front by himself without anybody supporting him. The poor bloke looked like he was about to faint with exhaustion near the end.

And, having spent a lot of the game hoofing it nowhere, we grab a goal and a possible away point and decide it's suddenly time to try and play out defence like Arsenal...and nearly concede....TWICE!!!

And it was bloody freezing :(
And Doffer spent 5 minutes after we equalised waggling his arse at the stewards

Ah, SORRY.

Got to drinking that super strength Heineken stuff, a little bit too early.

Mind you, The Boringmouth lads didn"t take too kindly to my Kylie rendictions outside the ground

We should be so lucky, lucky, lucky. lucky

Good day IN THE END.

 Offer

I read also on the Sky match report that we were saved at the end by a couple of diving stops from our keeper Gil Martin :D
