Another tough test for the lads (Or should I say boys now). With our recent form, confidence and team spirit we have good reason to feel upbeat about this one. The only time I've predicted a score this season was a 2-1 win against Oldham so forgive me for not giving my opinion on the result.
C'MON THE LADS!!!!!

Playing a lacklustre Crewe (Crewe, who the *** are you?) outfit who've not won in six.
I don't underestiamte Sarfend, but think we ought to be able to give them a run for their money at home. They'll at least give us a bit of respect after recent games, I'd hope, and that gives us a bit of time on the ball to do something.

This will be a very stern and interesting test IMO.
I still think our squad lacks a bit of depth, and with Boertien, Wrack and now Mattis out, and Mooney and Sonko still not 100% the resources are looking a bit stretched and they have Leon Clarke with 6 goals in 7 league games, that's some record, makes me wonder how Sheff Wed can justify having him out on oan given how poor they are.
I would be pleased with a draw to be honest, but I think a win here would be a real statement that we are capable of establishing ourselves in the race for the play-offs.

 Offer Here,
Have to agree with Geordie, this is a very tough game.
I have no hesitation, that they will be in the play-offs at the very least.
As you know, I live just 13 miles from Southends ground and they do feel very confident of achieving something this season and their striker Clarke is on FIRE.
I will keep you all posted daily on their thoughts for the game.
This is a real yeardstick, @ Home v a play-off side.
A REAL TOUGHIE

Draw
Can't make this one as a house move is imminent (fingers & everything else crossed) and I've been given a long list of things to do by Mrs Will.
Southend are doing great at the moment and this will be a real test. Hope we can keep the momentum going but I think we might have to settle for a draw this week.
1-1 Sonko to score with a 30 yard screamer in the top right hand corner.
