Hartlepool (a)- League 1 29/09/07
Predictions?
DD's team next week?
Bossu
Sonner Hall Mcdermott Mooney
Weston Deeney Fox Butler
Roper Gerrard
I think we will lose 2-0. Hartlepool are on fire and so is Ian Moore (but of course he wasnt good enough  )

Can't wait, great away trip, and we are playing well away. Optimistic 2-1 win for me, but we need to have different personnel to yesterday - Wrack centre-midfield, and I'd rather start Deeney than Butler. Sonko is our best midfielder and must play 90 minutes, I don't care if he's on hunger strike he's the a bit of quality we have.

Agree about team selection.
Hartlepool will be too good for us though I fear but I hope for a draw at least.

I think Ishy will put in a plethera of crosses which Butler will not make a play for, we will run around in circles for a bit, make various random substitutions, end up with only the goalkeeper in his natural position and then,in the 89th minute, Clayton will remain glued to his line instead of coming out for a cross and we will lose 1-0.
Just my prediction though.

I'm too sadistic. I love the negativity after a defeat so I have to go. :P

I predict that the meat and potato pies will be :
a) empty
b) tasteless
and the chips will be :
a) tasteless
b) tasteless
Same as last time!
As for the match, if you can call it that after yesterday :
Hartlepool Loads (minimum 5) was gonna say 4, but can't see it myself
Walsall 0 (or less)
Scorer - Roper (wrong end)
Not being negative or anything you understand, just realistic, some squads have progressed, others have gone backwards. :?

"and we are playing well away." Dont know where you get that idea from Geordie....I got the impression from people ive spoken to and UTS that we played no better against Millwall...we just made a lucky substitution and were the "least worst team"... :?

I get that impression from having been to every away league game so far this season.
