Presume 4 spare seats mean your car, in which case you ought to advertise in 'casge a lift'. No idea on ticket prices - nothing on our official site, or theirs, which is a bit sad.

Some tips from a "yocal"
The parking around the ground is about as bad as it gets (too many tractors you see - they play havoc with the traffic) Nothing really I can suggest, just search the narrow streets and see if you can squeeze between the Massey Ferguson and the John Deere.
Also, I do not recall seeing any direction signs. Given that most of you will be approaching from the North, best is to exit at J6 and take the signs for the city centre. The ground (if you can call it that) is in the Barbourne area of town (to the North of the city - just off the main A38)
Barbourne though, has some great pubs - Look out for the Lamb and Flag which has legendary Guinness
Finally, thought you might all find this useful - see you on Saturday!!!

Is it far from the Cathedral and old City?
Or should I get a cab back to the City Centre?
What would you suggest?
No problem with walking from the city centre. The cathedral is at the opposite end of the main shopping area, but still no more than 15-20 mins total walk.
From the city cente, keep walking (cathedral behind you) under Foregate st station bridge, past Odeon on left. You will then reach a road junction , but again, keep walking straight ahead. You are now in Barbourne. When you reach a kitchen shop called Intoto (on your right) , turn right down the side street. You should then see the ground.

you may well be right , the Cricket Club always have problems with floods.
The cricket club is at the other end of town and (significantly) is right alongside the River Severn. However, I just heard from my wife that flooding in Worcester right now (13.20) is pretty bad. The forecast is better tomorrow, but it is probably worth checking before setting out!
