Walsall 0

There will be no hot dogs left at half time,

Crowd of 4878, of whom 12-15 sitting behind the dugout will hurl abuse at Dicky, who in turn will resign and go and work where ever he likes.

Well it is more likely than 7-0 to the Super Saddlers

1-1, Mooney to score for us.

6785 in the crowd, although this might change considerably if the Carlisle fan I heard the other day say "we'll bring at least 2,500 for the opening game of the season" is correct....yeah right!!

Carlisle will bring a lot. They've got a really strong support base, and remember Walsall is one of their easier trips, straight down the M6, unlike going to Orient or Bournemouth or Gillingham. I'd guess they will more or less fill the away end, so around 1,500-2,000 travelling down.

The Carlisle fan I know reckons they'll bring the 2000 to fill the William Sharp away end for an opening day fixture.

They might be a way away, but its also just a straight blitz down the M1 for them and it is opening day when all teams bring inflated crowds, so I wouldn't be surprised if they brought circa 1900.

Surely not, 1,238 at least what are you thinking man!

Great avatar, obviously another 'bottom' fanatic exists, I alaways revert to watching a few episodes
after dissapointing footy, it's almost a cure for the agony. "tweezers!" "We havn't got any tweezers!"

I always watch the repeats of Bottom whenever and wherever they are on TV, usually at 9:40 on UKTV G2 on a Wednesday!

I confidently predict Carlisle will bring 2,000+. Its not at all a long trip for them, its a very straightforward medium trip - Carlisle is a long trip for Walsall fans

Probably about 6500 in for a 1-1 draw. Two teams destined for mid-table I think.

Just log on to the BBC Football web site and go to "My Team" and follow the clicks to get score up-dated every two minutes - admittedly about 5 minutes behind Sky Sports, but it's always there, on screen.

I alternate between that screen and the "Live Videprinter" that gives you every game's goals as they are reported.

Prediction for Saturday - 2-0 to Walsall, goals from Mooney and Wrack. Clayton to save a penalty from Zigor

If you're online then just keep coming back to the match thread, or hit the chatroom. There's usually some of us on here that can't make the game. If you're out, you're on your own though, sorry!
