Yep. However, the reporter at the match on Talksport said we looked like we should be challenging for promotion based on that performance. It sounded promising. Hector Sam seemed to be mentioned a lot, too. Should we sign him?

Unlucky really, we deserved to win the game, had more of the ball and made far more chances than Albion, who I thought were rather poor at times with some awful passing going on.

Their first was well taken but totally against the run of play, we had never looked like conceding and Ince looked very alert, solid, confident and dependable, while we had looked dangerous on a number of occasions.

But their second was an absolute gift by Anthony Gerrard, who clearly lost his bearings while watching a long and rather aimless punt heading in his direction. As Clayton Ince came out to take an easy ball off him, Gerrard inexplicably headed it well wide of the keeper and the ball bounced almost apologetically into the net leaving Ince with no chance.

All in all a good workout and very encouraging IMHO.

He needs to learn to shoot when he has the opportunity, made some good chances, but didn't blo)dy shoot

I think that's just a Walsall problem. Every year we have a player who does that.
