As the performance and result against the Villa was so similar to the one that opened the Bescot following our relegation to Div 4 last time I'll go for 17th which is where I think we finished that season.
Hope I'm wong and hope we're stronger this time but this league is hard and you need to be tough in body and mind. I've got reservations on either of those fronts for well over half of our squad. For many of the others I've got reservations on their ability. Sorry, but I can't see it being the procession some think it will be.

Would love to say top 3 but i just think we are still not solid enough as a team and will concede silly goals, regardless of whether merscum is there or not. Gonna go for 5th. 5 is supposidly my lucky number so hopefully it will come good. If only 1 was my lucky number... :wink:

Well acording to the bookies, We're 3rd favourites to win the league.
So being a big spender,I've put a quid on it.
I still expect 2 of the 4 midlands teams to go up. Although i'm more optermistic now we have a manbager who knows what he's doing.

I went for top three. OK our squad aren't world beaters, but this is league two, and if last season's league was tripe, then this can't be any better. The current Walsall team will never make it to the Championship, but I sincerely hope they can get us to League One.

I went for 8th-14th... I'm not convinced we're anywhere near Top 3 material and those thinking we are are seeing something that I'm not in this crop.

Ultimately I see us falling just short, and finishing top half.
