Central News obviously used that as their research as they repeated the error. Good job Sky do better research.

Sky a lot of the time shows up the terrestrial providers as amateurish.

The People also referred to Deano as a 'promising youngster'??? Do you think they mistook him for Ishmel?

Typical I guess.

OK, Swindon had a lot of the play, but you'd expect that with them at home and needing a result. But look at the stats and you'll see they had few shots, and not that many more than us, so I thought we looked pretty comfortable at the back most of the time.

Having said that, once we conceded from that corner (or was it a free kick) I didn't see us getting back into it but once again, late on, the players' fitness was crucial as they finished the game the stronger side yet again. Such a contrast to a year ago eh ?

True. It's been the story of the season though, hasn't it? How many teams have we played that felt they deserved to beat us but didn't? We have been rock solid. I think our biggest defeat this season was 2-0. Even when we were off-form, we were never thumped - the sign of a determined team set to win something.

4 pages and no comments on the game! A typical match thread. The longest ones this season were the ones where we whinged, by the way.

Some people only come on here to have a moan

last year at Swindon was one of those low point for me as a Saddler, getting the train back to London on cold Tuesday January night made wonder what the hell was I doing, we seemed to have given up, a year later watching the videos posted and the pictures its hard to believe its the same team at the same ground and the same set of fans. just shows what a difference a year can make, what a difference a decent manager can make

so very proud to be a Saddler - thank you DD and WFC
