From the WM commentary there is a splendid rendition in in the background of "Going down the Wednesbury Road......."

How I wish I was there.

Full time now would be nice - we would be promoted and top of the league - Hartlepool are still goal-less.

Yes - like CSFC I was almost pleasantly surprised to see that Notts County are fielding a player by the name of James Walker!!!

Here I am in Athens, and I'd rather be in Nottingham - that's a bit sad in a way

WE'RE ON THE WAY UP

On the plus side - half time at MKD

They are drawing 0-0

As it stands, we are up and still just 2 points off the top.

Looking at the half time stats from the beeb site it appears we are on the back foot a little bit. I know stats don't tell the whole story but possession was 56%-44% in county's favour and they had 8 shots on target to our 1.

Hopefully we'll come out sparkling in the second half, like we did on Monday.

Half time report on the front page now, from the Fat Controller. It's them doing well, rather than us doing badly.

One has to assume an injury to Gerrard?

That's what WM are assuming.

According to the BBC website, Gerrard's substitution is because of injury, and Wrack 's introduction is tactical.

I know we don't need to worry about them as they can't catch us but Lincoln are 3-0 down at home to Wrexham.

Looking like Pead has taken a knock, WM reporting that Smith is coming on for him.

That's a bit more reorganising in defence.

The BBC website match stats so far have it that Walsall have 40% of the play to Notts' 60%. Are we being outplayed here?

for the title it would be better to win today but for us, we're coming next week so a promotion party would be a nice present :o
