Well impressed. Dosh got the team selection and substitutions right as far as I can tell. This game was always going to be difficult, so to keep a clean sheet and score 2 goals is paticularly impressive.

2-0 good enough. Macc - two chances, no goals, us three on target, two goals, both set pieces (insofar as a penno is a set piece). Cider sounded lively but faded, Ince kept brilliantly, Wright showed why dropping him doesn't add anything.

Dull match, dire by commentators' standards, but I'll take the points please - anything that helps get us out of this godawful division.

Money interviewed just now for WM - said that the performance showed character and determination, and that we just showed yet another way to win a football match. He can't speak highly enough of his players.

Said it was a tough night, and we needed the three points. Was pleased with the young defence especially, happy with Wrack playing a full 90 minutes too.

Said Sam was not injured - that was just a shape change to reinforce midfield.

Said Butler had diaorrhea before the game, but wanted to play - must've cacked hisself to ask to be taken off!

No point going into too much detail as there are 2 threads about the bloke already, but I find that comment particularly odd given that we've just won 2-0 away from home. The result tells me that DD got his team selection spot on, regardless of what things sounded like on any type of commentary.

What's odd about it. Bugger all happened down the right in the first half.

As I said elsewhere, that system would be shocking at home.

The result is the most important thing, no doubt about that, and I await the reports of those who were there with interest. Sounded like we improved in the second half which is something. I still think we need to strengthen [for example, the central midfield area, is there anyone out there who disagrees?] and Swindon are going to be very difficult to fend off for the rest of the season, even though we are now 3 points clear of them. The fact is we are now EIGHT points clear of 4/5th place. That's what really counts.

C'mon me babb-ies
