Perhaps should switch to Hartlepool game. Struggling to stay awake through that first half.
Come on the chat room. At least you'll have some Saddlers chat whilst being bored silly !

Well disciplined performance tonight if a little uninventive.
Swansea were well drilled to.
One minor observation and bug bear, we are defending corners with all eleven players. This means we are having to defend a ball into the box twice, as it is so difficult to break out from a corner. The law of averages must weigh against this practice. Two crosses into the box versus, all men behind the ball?
Blessing in disguise, still unbeaten at home to non-premiership opposition

That's my one issue as well.
Mind you, if that's all we're complaining about, we're much better off than last season aren't we ?

There's no extra time in the competition because the Football League/Johnstones are trying to encourage kids to the games by offering tickets at £10 including 2 kids free.
Neil/Exile - There is something in the paper today saying that The Football League will fine any club £5000 if they don't play at least 6 of the most used players in league games.
I think we'll win, 1-0. Pity Trundle cam back from injury yesterday but they way we're defending we can keep him quiet.
Was my post invisible? :?
What post ? :D

You are not kidding!! But I am a little surprise by DD, it's a trait of English teams to defend like this but most European Teams leave an outlet.
Mind you we've not looked as solid at the back for a good while, so I'll keep my trap shut (Probably) and trust DD.

I've learnt that after thinking he'd lost the plot replacing Sam with Pead at the Mansfield game.

After an uninspiring and even 1st half, we were much the better side in the 2nd, and it was a travesty that we went behind, Wracky's equaliser was the least we deserved after we had outplayed them for most of the 2nd half.
Couldn't believe Taylor and Constable took the first two penalties. Taylor rattled the bar with his, and the ball came down the wrong side of the line. Constable put his at the perfect height for Oakesy to save easily, my old Granny could have stopped it, and she's been dead for 6/7 years!
An unjust outcome, wasted basically, but who wants to be in this competition risking injuries and crazy bookings like we got tonight from yet another third rate referee!
Better off out of it, but it just hurts that Oakesy flapped at the ball most of the night and STILL came out on the winning side. Thought he was really rather pathetic to be honest! Thank God we got Clayton, not him.
