1-1, a dull performance from both teams, on a windy wet tuesday night :?

Yep. I'll go with that too. Westwood and Wright for us.

I'm a bit concerned about tonight, Last nights E&S Reported that the players faded and show signs of tiredness at Bristol on saturday and DD is considering keeping the same side tonight.
With Gerrard back . Picken , Bedeau and Ishmel fresh i wonder if a few changes would be a good thing , we have a squad lets use it .At this time i would settle for a draw at Shrewsbury.

Typical derby game tighter than a mouses earhole Saddlers to edge it 2 -1
Butler and Dobson.

Anyone remember a game at the YGA Meadow , when Hibbitt was manager... 3 Goals in the first half, and they had a man sent off for hand ball on the line

Thats what we want tonight Up the Saddlers

As I have said ad nauseum, I would prefer Kinsella to start with Keates on the bench. We cannot afford to concede the midfield tonight in the way that we did in the Macc/Bristol games. Dobson and Kinsella worked well together in the first two games, so I see no reason they should not both start tonight.

If you saw Bedeau on Saturday you would not be suggesting a starting place for him. I do not want to seem harsh and so will assume he is not yet fully fit.

Two teams with big positive GD.... our away form is still to click (unbeievable to be saying that this season though huh??)...Its a game we CAN win, but whether we will or not?........as pointed out elsewhere, we're really yet to meet some of the true challengers, so really need these early wins to build a gap.
1-0 to the Saddlers........... Westwood.

Sounds like we were a bit lucky to go in level. From commentary sounds like Dann not having the sort of game he had at Bristol.

Sounded a cracker & to get a point under such pressure must be an excellent sign.
What a shame about Pead's effort against the bar.
Congrats to Malcolm Borden for talking up Walsall so much & encouraging people to get down to the Bescot.

Not bad all things considered, with swindon and wycombe playing each other.

Just need boston to beat lincoln tomorrow.

Good point, well earned?
From the commentary on WM the Sloppies sounded pretty useful.

1,863 Saddlers tonight at Gay Meadow. Well done lads and lasses.

Great point and great spirit by the sounds of it. Four points from 2 away games and still top of the league. That'll do for me.

Well, got the score right but would have loved to see us win. Seemed to have most possession in the first half (well 35 mins that I saw on the beeb live text) and a few chances against the bar etc. Shrewsbury seem to be an okay team and will be around the play off area I reckon so a point away is not bad.
Roll on Mansfield this Saturday!
