I hope he reminds the team of Wrexhams result in Akistan, after their win against Swindon.

Shame, I was looking forward to giving him a decent reception, in thanks of the tremendous service that he gave to the Saddlers.

Really?! He must be about 53 by now!

  he's 38, I think he's their player-coach / assistant manager type thing :?

I'll never forget the day we signed Ian Brightwell, reading about it in the E&S. It said 'The former England Under-21 international, now 32....' There's nothing like talking-up a new signing!

As good a servant as he was for us, I was looking forward to the last half an hour when Ishmel and Bedeau came on and started running at him. He wouldn't have known what day it was.

True, True....

I'd have still applauded him before the start of the game, though.

when that whistle goes, its a different proposition!

Sitting on them would be very unwise, agreed, but surely the phrase is "rest on their laurels"?? I think it's a reference to the laurel wreaths that Greeks and Romans used to award to their sporting winners.

This match has got 0-1 written all over it you know!

Rumour from the North-West is that Brian Horton will get the push if they lose tomorrow.

It may be warranted over the course of the season so far, but it seems a bit harsh when he's up against our 100% home record.

It might not be as easy as it looks tomorrow...

In their opening 8 games to date, they've actually played 5 of the top 6 already. So had a very tough start.

2-0 to the supers, butler and wright.

4550 in attendance, although I reckon only about 175 away fans.

How many did Posh bring the other night?

Or alternatively, if they've lost to the teams in 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th already then surely the team in 4th can be quietly confident?
