U would have thought that Plymouth are a little to strong for us! Saying that there might change the team around a bit! U never know in cup competition though! They also lost at home yesterday!

2-1 Plymouth I think. :(

Despite our progress I think they will be too strong for us.

2-1 - Fangeiro for us.

Does it go to extra time and pens on the night or a replay? If it's extra time and pens I fancy our pre-season maintenance training to pay off and us to edge it, even more so on pens with big Clayton and our array of pen takers. :D

Any sort of win will do me, having a $20 bet with a Plymouth fan here. Resigned to losing it though. Will be glued to the commentary and sat in the chatroom if anyone can't make the game and fancies joining in.

With a bit of luck, I'll be watching Barcelona v Bayern Munich on Tuesday night at the Nou Camp. :D
I think we'll get beat 2-0 against Plymouth - if nothing else, at least the game should provide the chance for Picken, Dobson, Bedeau, Fangueiro and Ishmel to play.
I'd also like to see either Pead given a go in midfield again or Mark Bradley being given a run out.

I hope we don't go to extra time , we need the lads fresh and fit for
Darlington. It will be interesting to see what side DD puts out with ,
Pead , Ishy and Fanguerio doing so well at Lincoln. Bedeau and Picken must be very near to a return .

I think DD will take Carling Cup seriously so should field a strong side, although I would ex. How we do I think depends more on how seriously Plymouth take it. If they wanna win then probably 3-1 to them, if they can't be bothered then 1-0 to us.

On the basis Gerrard and Ropes play together with Westwood at Right back I will go for Plymouth 4-1 Walsall.

An 800 mile round trip on a Tuesday night is nothing. Call yourself a fan?

Does anyone else think that this competition is becoming nothing but an irritation?

I would be quite happy if we put the stiffs out. So to speak.

ive got a positive vibe for tuesday night, if we take it seriously then i think we will give plymouth a good run for their money and hopefully we will nick it, it would make the 5 hour coach trip on the way back a bit better!! :D

3-2 to the Saddlers... Fandango with the first, and Constable with two late goals.

Obviously I'd like a win, but I'm more concerned about Darlington on Saturday. I'm not taking the Merson approach, and a cup run might provide good income, but promotion is the number one aim this season.

The last time i went to Plymouth was back in the 70's, we won 2-0 Johnny
Woodward bagged a brace. I remember it well because we were escorted by the police past the home fans and we faced a barrage of abuse and spitting .
