I'm going and expecting a close game. Hartlepool have had a bad start to the season and may start to pick up now...

I think I'd have as much chance of winning something if I flushed my money down the toilet!

Stlll silent on the walsall matchcommentary on SaddlersWorld.. I hope they have worked out their problems so the broadcast will be turned on at kickoff.

Hartlepool commentary only - they've acknowledged Walsall fans are listening to them as well - it's not good enough - it really isn't!

Nice game, drifted a bit once we were in control, but to be expected, I guess. Can't understand ASBO Ishy getting a yellow - whatever was said to him by Money went in one ear and out the other; he wound himself up. No future if that's his attitude.

A performance at 75% and we won, signs are looking good.

Ince - Brilliant.
Westwood - is not a right back, but shored up midfield.
Gerrard - one of his worst games for us, very poor.
Roper - Class, won everything.
K Taylor - great performance
Wright - Appalling. No strength whatsoever, the weak link.
Keates - Ran our midfield, 2 superb goals.
Kinsella- the usual chinchilla. runs his heart out.
Fox - gave us shape and some dangerous crosses.
Sam - Brilliant at holding the ball up and turning defenders.
Butler - Superb, always a threat runs his heart out.

Subs;

Pead - look much better with him at RB
Constable - looked sharp, needs killer instinct.
Ishmel twerp - What a disgrace to out football club, kicks their player in the kidneys whilst on the floor, also refused to shake any of their players hands at the end. get rid.
