We sincerely apologise for the lack of commentary for today's game.

I am afraid there were technical problems with the radio station.

Please find opposition commentary today.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Club Support

That will happen more and more this season as WM pays lip-service to it's obligations.

7/10 for observation :D

WTF???

It is customary for someone to post the score at half and full time. No one had done so, so I did. Jeez!!!

Half time report from the Fat Controller:

http://www.steveroy.com/walsall/

The BBC WM DAB service is not covering the game, so I don't know if that's anything to do with Saddlers World not getting coverage.

it's the first game of the season, we are winning away, so what is with all the arguments?

anyone know how well we are playing? obviously i can't make it to many games - are we more direct under money or are we still trying to play pretty football?

The first half report is on the front page.. We have lost the play a bit since we scored but we might be on our way to take back the inciative again.

Well done !
Rochdale commentators very impressed with Hector Sam 'a thorn in Rochdale's side all afternoon' & Mark Wright. Interesting to see what people there thought.

Excellent.

Sounds like we went absent in the second half for a while, but held it together.

according to commentary, ref might have had a hand in our win, but that's usually a sign that you're better drilled than the opposition.

Anyway, off back to bed. g'nite.

Whats going on?
Sticking with the same formation thro the game?
Players working hard and actually looking organised?
Defense being able to deal with corners, ale house balls and set pieces and the opposition barely managing a shot on goal?
The midfield dominating most of the match?
Up front managing more than one shot per game?

Am totally confused. Am not used to this type of football

And last but not least, i thought away games were not meant to count ?!

That'll do. My prediction also.

900 saddlers there to watch.

Excellent result, and a great start to the season. Really looking forward to Tuesday night now. Can't wait to see Picken! :D

Probably the only prediction I'll get right this season.
