My opinions for what they are worth;
Butler was impressive, very lively, looked fit, chased and stole balls from Albion players, took his goal well, could have had another in the first half.
Dobson, again I was very impressed with, tough takling, good distribution.
Westwood, looke dbetter as a right back than a centre back, did OK for me in that role.
Sam - if only he would shoot! got in some great positions, but failed to pull the trigger.
Roper & Gerrard look solid (despite Gerards misunderstaing with keeper for their winner.
Talking of Ince, I thought he did really well, came out to claim lots, what a kicker!!! That could be a weapon occassionally!
Wasn't over impressed with Bedeau, but wingers do tend to drift in and out of games.
Kinsella had a great game, looks fit and healthy, and will hopefully be a regular this season.
Dicky Dosh - I like his style, up and shouting instructions at the players, supporting, shouting at them when necessary - very vocal.
All in all a decent performance against a poor looking Albion team, the extra training showed as albion were a lot more sluggish than the Saddlers.

On that performance, bring on Division 2! Movement like that, from Butler and Sam will rip defences apart at our level. I was quite impressed.

How did Fox play today? The official site makes it sound like he got forward to create chances quite a bit. If this is true, I'm glad too hear that he's got some confidence back.
On the subject of confidence, I don't think this game could have come at a better time for Roper. At times on Wednesday, he looked far from happy so a standing ovation from the fans will have done him the world of good.

You wasn't the only one. I wouldn't say that we'd walk over League Two clubs based on a pre-season friendly, however it certainly was promising. The result didn't matter, the performance was good, but more importantly we performed great for Roper and he deserved it.

I thought it was an Ice-Cream Man.

Nice to meet you (as brief as it was), Daz!
I was't going to mention the vision in pink, but now that you have.... he had the delight of meeting my mother in law too!!

Still I bet they still got no icecreams
No but we got Danish Pastries and a coffee machine!!!
Now I'm jealous...
You all looked a bit lonely at Half time, Cheeseybag - you, your albion friends and Kris Taylor's parents. And I hope Harry didn't eat all the Danish Pastries...like he ate all the chicken legs!
