I see Lewington and Drillo got in the League 2 Team of the Week.
I've always rated Lewington, and he was at his best in nullifying the powerhouse of wingplay that is Mark Wright.

Yes...come on guys sam really gets up my nose for doing the same as Izale Mcleod...you cant say that one was any less of an offender as the other...in my opinion they should be warned once then sent off for a 2nd offence...or..the managers should take responsability and drop them if they cant stay on their feet...its such a big turn off for fans...surely the player and management must know that.

What about Fox's antics? Was baiting Dons fans from the start giving us the finger in the 3rd minute when the ref wasnt looking.
For Gary Ellison - no-one here really cares about your anti-mk comments. Just comes across as sour grapes.
Looking forward for the home fixture. How many will you guys be bringing?
HAHAHAHA I hated your poxy little club while you were still in Selhurst Park advertising your move to MK, even when your poxy away attendance was 20 as opposed to a half decent 600.
Sour grapes would be me saying that you were kack and not a worry to us. but then again if you can blank out what an abomination your club is, you can blank my comments quite easily.
If i was a player, id give your fans the finger.

As far as I see it, I'm a guest on your board, so I'd rather avoid spats.

MKDonsfan4082 - welcome to the board. IMHO, it's always good to have cross-fertilisation of views from different clubs.
Izale McLeod - without any doubt, one of the best players in League Two and this makes his behaviour all the more puzzling. As stated above, he has "previous" with us, from his Derby County days, and this explains the warm reception he always receives at Bescot. He doesn't need to cheat - and cheat he definitely does.
Hector Sam, on the other hand, is a complete donkey and shouldn't be in our team! He is an embarrassment now. I remember posting after our first match of the season (at Rochdale) that I wished he would stay on his feet and not go to ground so readily. I can't make my mind up as to whether he is cheating or whether he is just plain useless and has a balance/co-ordination problem!
As to the hostility towards your club, I'm sure you appreciate that it's the queue-jumping technique employed by that prat barclays that has evoked that reaction, nationwide. The situation has its origins in the dealings (or lack of them) between Merton Borough Council and the then Wimbledon board. barclays needed a way to get his stadium for his pop concerts in Milton Keynes and, rather than invest in a genuine, existing club, such as Milton Keynes City, he jumped the queue by buying up the franchise of the troubled Wimbledon - but, there again, you know all that. It is to the lasting shame of the football authorities that this was allowed to happen.
As it happens, I don't bear any resentment towards you MK Dons' fans, unlike many people (including on this board). The situation is not of your making and, at least, you support your local League Two team rather than be plastic cockneys, following the likes of Chelsea and Spurs!

I suppose I could call you a complete t*sspot with the brain (and probably face and breath) of a pekinese, but that'd be rude, likely inaccurate and will get us nowhere.
Sorry you dont like us. We MK Dons fans have no illusions about the past. Our club has sought to put things right through the accord with Merton Council, FA and AFCW. In return, other clubs were supposed to give us hugs and tell us how much they love and admire us. C'est le vie!
What I'm looking forward to is the return fixture with both teams playing their best, as little cheating as possible on both sides, somewhat better refereeing and the best team to win (Dons 3-0).

Good post. Agree with much of your comments and thanks for the welcome.
I've spent hours arguing with BathWomble in the past. Many of AFCW's arguments don't really reflect the true position Wimbledon was faced with. I've investigated the financials independently and found the old club to be dead and buried financially. It's demise was inevitable and Winkleman was opportunist. Since then AFCW have pretty much (financially) cashed-in re Kingstonians. In fact K fans were effectively gagged from their initial complaints in case they lost the use of (their own) ground. AFCW have run an effective campaign, with some key people even admitting the central objective was to establish and promote AFCW financially. I don't feel sorry for them cos they've behaved hypocritically.
The Dons effectively nicked a spot in the league. No excuses. No going back now though and in time we hope to become deserving.
