I hadn't thought of it like that actually - I'd been looking at it as a 'must win' game. I suppose you have a point.
:?

Yes it could be like that but that supposes as well that Swindon dont get anything & with Franchise playing Hartlepool either each gets a point from a draw or one of them gets 3 for a win( either way one of them must still be ahead of us if we only draw).
No we go all out for a win. And please not some dreary performance trying to sneak a 1-0 on the break.

Who's going?! Just think what a noisy away following could do on a lovely sunny Bank Holiday. Donny won't be that bothered so we could make a big difference.

Get you @rses, and your whole family (could be the same thing in some cases  ) up to Donny and lets give it one last throw of the dice as supporters.

ill b there, r u goin in the terraces behind the goal or in the main stand?

Its has to be terracing all the way, surely?!!! I miss it at Bescot.

See you all there. I'm the one with specs and a solitary nose ring.

2-1 to us.

2-1 win to us and then a brilliant win on saturday so we can celebrate our first "live-win". First visit: lost 0-1 vs Oldham, 2nd visit: 1-1 vs Dongs so should be clear: 3th visit 1-0 win vs Huddersfield!!!

Attack with width and pace, and we will get something.
Go narrow, and we'll get destroyed...like last time at Belle Vue.

Good Homework Jorge

With that in mind Daryl Taylor in for Leary, Standing to replace him second half, or the other way about standing on, Taylor off the bench.

Would prefer Smith to ishmail, but ishy does have great pace, couldn't imagine taylor and ishy in the same team too lightweight, unless ishy is on as a striker (like away to vale)

My team would be

Oakes

Pead Roper Mills Fox

Taylor Osborn Smith Demon

Claridge Constable

No headless chickens in the shape of Leary and Keates and plenty of pace to occupy their fullbacks AND hopefully provide some crosses for the front two.

oakes
pead westwood mills fox
osborn keates smith
standing
constable claridge

This gives us a solid midfield plus some attacking options.
Standing's best position is "in the hole".
From there he can run at people and his weak tackling doesn't leave us exposed - the other 3 provide a solid platform to let us play this way.

Remember we have to WIN games draws are not going to get us out of this mess.
I understand the comments about wide players but with 2 midgets in the middle and no supporting midfiled players we have no-one to get on the end of any crosses.
The reason I would play Standing is that most defenders hate players who run at them with the ball - even more than they hate crosses !!!

I can sort of see why Standing might come in since he is a bit more creative than our other midfielders. But to leave Osborn out beggars belief.

Contable out, Barrowman in - well, hmm.

Can't get my head round it. And if 'Dreary' is on the right again then I must be missing something because I have not seen him do anything out there when he has played there. Also, can't understand why we have ishy AND twiggy on the bench - only need one of those and could have Timm or Ossie (is he out injured?) instead - Timm might of been able to conjure something up in the last quarter of the game if needed.

TBH,I'm amazed we're the commentary.I really thought these Dingles would carry on following Wolves even after they had nothing to play for.Maybe they do read this website.
